These past couple of days I've been practicing finding creative photos in any type of situation/location. This is some of the stuff I got, along with the "behind the scenes."

This is in a tiny dark room, there was a black wall about 5 feet long. I decided to do some strobing.

Boardroom in my office has a door where some natural light comes through for part of the day. I caught the reflection on the table.

Same boardroom. Bounced the light off the wall to create a silhouette.

Sky was overcast so I used it as a white backdrop. We found some mulch around the parking lot and asked her to throw it in the air to get some particles.

So i gotta bro that's gonna sell me his Minolta maxxum 5D for $200 and loan me some lenses for the summer. Sound like a good deal and a good newb friendly camera?

Rufus, great shots!

I plan on getting some more night shots this week, I miss it!

Here is one from last night I really liked

I started trying to shoot more people, social gatherings of sorts. I picked up a flash. I feel so overwhelmed but it's really stimulating to have a new challenge. That being said, I can't dismiss the fact that I just re-iterated for myself that what I love is architecture and city night shots as seen on earlier pages.

glad to see a spark in the thread!

...and i can relate to the challenge of shooting people and social experience...i'm used to trying to capture the exact opposite; the untouched purity of a place or thing...usually when i include humanistic elements, it would usually go to show the downside of the matter...for instance:

but a couple of my attempts at the humanistic/social aspects, i posted earlier (from rain in ireland and boy playing with birds in amsterdam set)...

umm...here's some other semi-related thing...

Couple of totally newb, non-artistic, generic outdoor shots I took while canoeing this weekend. Looking back, I probably should have waited a little longer for the sun to break the horizon on the camp shot.
