Can't believe this game is still around. I played at release for a couple of months. Diplo was pretty awesome. Wish it was it's own stand alone game.

Any special instructions on installation on this server for a PC user? All I'm getting is the red error "Your XML files are not compatible. . . "

Hmm, well it looks like my error was from winEQ2 running in the background. So now it's I've got the game nice and stable, I just need to tweek it how I like. I had just gotten used to playing in 3rd person on P99, but it seems like the camera options are not quite the same here.

nm got that figured out. Still have this error window popping up.

Tried installing with the PC workaround today. I got this popup. I can move it aside and continue on to the server select screen, but when I go to join the server the program just closes. Any ideas?

Yeah I'm definitely not interested in Mac/PC fanboyism. Looking down on someone for their computing device of choice is pretty stupid, and I have seen some of that on the EQMac forum. As far as the PC workaround, I guess I haven't looked into enough yet, but from what I heard it sounds like it...

Maybe it was a blessing in disguise for your server then. But my other hurdle is that I do not have a Mac. I have heard about the PC workaround, but it sounds like it is highly frowned up by your server. Not sure what to do honestly.

This makes me sad. I was planning on starting on EQMac soon, but if there are massive trolls there then I might just go find another game to play.

If anyone wants to gift me their old, unused, rotting account... I'd love to play again. Just don't think I have it in me to start yet again from level 1. Someone mentioned that EQMac is better, but since I'm Mac-less P99 is really my only option it seems.
