I have definately noticed that same thing with shadows. Usually I just turn them off and i can go up a whole tier. Say High->Ultra just by turning off shadows.

Its with smart cast but if you left click before the spell goes off it cancels it. Like if they are just out range instead of going off when you get in range you just auto attack them instead. I just have to time the clicks better.

I am mostly used to it now though I do accidentally cancel my own spells occasionally before they go off in the frantic clicking

Make sure you dont have Button 3 bound to anything else in the ini file. Also I copied the second one and replaced the shift button 1 to button 3 the second time around and it worked.

I do have to agree with this. They could have easily done a fast motion, blurry snow fight. Lots of sound but not much shown. Lots of swords clanging. Screams. Blood splattering on the ice etc with a few close ups of piggie hiding. Major characters in battle etc. It did feel anticlimactic after...

I think the nose thing is because it would be a hassle to deal with the makeup for it all the time and also no one wants to see that in every scene. It's one thing to have it described and then ok he is really fucked up but to have to stare at a hole in his face every scene i think would be rough.

The reload thing wouldn't be nearly as bad if the checkpoints or however it saves are often but going through a huge level painstakingly slowly making sure everything lines up right and then sneeze and have to start it all over again is not my idea of fun especially if it is just one lone guy...

This is the main reason I never really liked the Thief line. I don't mind being sneaky etc but if one or two guys see me I should be able to win. I do agree that towards the end of dishonored I was too powerful and it felt like a waste of time to sneak because you could fight a wall of guys...

Aye. I like their system of its yours for a bit then everyone has a shot at it but the timer is ridiculously short. If you have to fight at all there goes your item.

I think one of the big problems with the bruisers is that their base damage with no damage items is too high. They need to do another across the board pass of them lowering their base damage and upping their ratios a bit. That way you don't have a Xin with nearly no + dmg but a ton of tanky...

I think this hurt them pretty bad. They really should have had their flagship games ready for launch. Brawl, Mario kart etc are some of the main draws to the system. Even if like someone else said they were worried about no new game sales later in the cycle they could have had the games ready...

It boggles my mind why EA bought bullfrog and then never made a new dungeon keeper. Every gamer I know loved the DK series but no one seems to have created a true DK3. Why can't they just copy DK2 with better graphics and some new units and a few improvements?
