They actually instituted a 'load screen confirmation' for Horizon: Forbidden West because it loads so fast when fast-travelling that you wouldn't be able to even read the load-screen hint most of the time. Its freakish.

Mana seems to be an odd resource. Playing a Paladin I've never once even noticed the blue bar move much less empty out and yet quite a few skills have mana efficiency options. When I PowerPassed a Sorcerer I did see mana matter, but only when I had the manashield thingy toggled on.

Downton Abbey gets away with things because its a period piece. Those lavishly crafted period dramas on British Television get an immediate pass for lack of diversity on account of authenticity. The first time a black man is seen in Downton Abbey itself is quite a shock to many of the characters.

There is definitely an overwhelming sensation with all the different skills/stats/levels/collections etc. Taking it easy and just addressing one thing at a time seems to be the way to ease into it. Thankfully most enemies while levelling are weak enough that you have plenty of time to get used...

I love that Vigilante is absolutely aware that he doesn't have emotions like other people do and that doesn't phase him for the same reason. He also seems rather durable given the degree to which he gets damaged each episode yet keeps on ticking.
