Gold doesn't make much of a difference unless you're collecting pets and mounts. Great for "free" game time, however. I spent very little during WoD.

I used and still use Vuhdo as Resto Druid. Patch broke it though and it's kind of a pain to configure properly. I need some new weakauras as well (if anyone has any to share, feel free).

So much this. I'm ilvl 735 and feel about 700 after the patch. Surely it's some L2P on my behalf, but the mana situation really feels terrible now. Paired with tank changes, this makes for an entirely frustrating healing experience.

Leveling is pretty fast in WoD. I hit 96 in Shadowmoon with the elixir method. Edit: Easily hit 100 in Gorgrond.

Not sure how other tanks are around level 80, but blood is absolutely and ridculously OP.

Thanks for the macro! I'm definitely in the same boat regarding garrisons. I'm glad I have a stockpile of gold and tokens, but I'm even more glad I won't be compelled to log all my alts on a daily basis.

Leveling to 60 definitely wasn't rocket science and worlds easier than leveling in EQ. It did take awhile to hit 60 though, much longer than 1-100 in today's WoW.

I really enjoyed SCH because 1) you get a dps spec for "free", 2) automatic pet heals make dungeons a breeze, and 3) if you are proficient dpsing as SCH, you can help speed up dungeon runs (and raids to a lesser degree). I didn't care for WHM as much, particularly while leveling. But yeah...

Expansion was great fun when it launched; however, after a month or so, the grind become too much to bear. I'm not averse to some level of grinding, but in FFXIV's current iteration, there appears to be very little incentive to persevere. Raiding, IMO, doesn't compare favorably with WoW either...
