Dude is straight getting hit a ton and his offensive line isn't any where near as bad as some of the ones that has given up nearly the same hits.

Redskins offensive lines have been one of the worst in recent years. Lots of Redskins fans debated whether having a QB like Brady or Manning made their lines look better than they really were (I think a lot of this was when Manning was about to become a FA). The Redskins are basically fielding the same line as they did last year (albeit probably healthier) but the addition of RG3 has made them look much better. They're still a terrible line, but they're passable now.
Anyway, I couldn't find what I was reading a week or two ago about how the offensive scheme is essentially the same as Shanahan has always run but out of the pistol, but here's an article breaking down the offense as a whole. Oh, and the pistol is just a shotgun with the QB closer to the line. So it's not like it's some crazy "QB gets hit all the time" formation.

I've heard that call before. A couple years ago. I can't remember the team though. But at that point I learned that mimicking the snap count is a penalty.

They did that shit to the Cowboys all game last year causing Costa to snap when he wasn't supposed to, they never fucking called it and Garrett and the Cowboys both bitched to the league about it.
