I was just curious, because I was/am a long time Moon fan, how Moon compares to an obvious Hall of Fame QB like Favre (whom I loathe). I've always considered Moon to be overlooked in the discussions about top rated QB's.

First Favre:
Total Passing Yards: 71,838*
Career Completion %: 62
Career Interceptions: 336*

*Nfl records

Now Moon, combined CFL and NFL:
Total Passing Yards: 70,553
Career Completion %: 58
Career Interceptions: 310

To be clear, I'm certainly not looking to take ANYTHING away from Favre's on-field performance. He truly is a HOF'er.

I can't stand Gruden, that guy will suck off even the shittiest QB's in the league, I remember him slurping all over Skeltons dick and Sanchez or someone equally awful. I honestly believe that man jerked off to pictures of QB's.

Dude. what the fuck are you talking about? One doesnt simply fix their entire o-line in a single draft (unless your the 49ers that is) esp when you have needs at other major positions (you know......like QB and DB). SO in light of said shitty o-line they took a flier on Geno Smith in the 2nd round whilst still having 4 other qb's on the roster. Daez I know you hate me, and I like it, I really do, but please just stfu sometimes.

edit: Oh, and lol at the Rams taking Austin. The dumb black American Inventor you think was a bad pick was actually the one forcing him the ball like 75% of the time (how many catches did Tavon have? 170? something like that) and now he gets to play with SAM BRADFORD. Speaking of o-lines the Rams have one of the worse in the league as well, and I bet you will actually be hoping YOUR team had Geno Smith by seasons end. Haha.
Hate you? I don't hate you, what would this board be without your insightful takes and hilarious bigotry?

Worst lines in the league? Can't fix an o-line in a draft? What do you think the Rams did this offseason? Maybe you've heard of Jake Long? That FA signing (you know that thing you're allowed to do in the offseason) will allow the Rams to move their decent Left Tackle to Right where he belongs, their pro-bowl center is healthy now, and they picked up Barrett Jones to play Guard/Backup Center.

Yeah, instead of trying to improve your offensive line you should just focus on getting a mobile QB. (and Geno really isn't a runner right?)

According to ESPN Stats and Information, Smith attempted a ridiculous 96 percent of his passes from the shotgun or pistol formation while at West Virginia.
Sounds league ready!

All that was said before you went off the deep end with your posts is there are a lot of red flags about Geno Smith, that is just the plain truth. He might very well turn out to be great, I don't have a crystal ball and neither do you.

p.s. I'm in the camp that Bradford sucks right now, this year he'll have a vastly improved line (if healthy) and vastly improved receiver options. If he can't get it done the Rams have to go in another direction. I certainly wouldn't have wanted the Rams to draft a head case like Geno Smith.

I agree with all this stuff. I thought the Rams reached when they drafted Bradford, but I'm still hopeful he can be a solid QB. Geno Smith is a huge wildcard, imo.

Ravens get Bryant McKinney Back. He'll totally be in football shape by December.

You can't really add CFL and NFL stats. The CFL to me closer to the SEC than the NFL amd geared for winging it. Moon was a stud, though, but he did benefit from the pass happy CFL and playing in the 'chuck and duck' offense.

The more I read and watch, the more I think the Bills made the right decision in taking EJ Manuel over Gino Smith.

Haven't seen the details but sounds like its an incentive laden contract. Of course he still might eat a dozen strippers in August and die of a heart attack in Owings Mills, but it was worth a try for Oz I guess.

Either way, it beats continuing the great Michael Oher experiment at LT and it keeps our future Pro Bowl LG where he belongs. For four games at least (I'm assuming it'll take Big Mac at least a month before he kicks his hooker and hamburger bender into high gear).

I just hope we can groom someone decent into the job by the time fatfuck is gone, I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't finish this two year contract. I'd be a lot more optimistic about him if he was about five years younger.

I was surprised when I saw his name pop up as drafted. Didn't even realize he had declared. I was watching that game where he destroyed his leg live, and I figured his football career was over.

I still think the most productive RB this draft year will be Randle. Which really sucks.

I thought about that, but the vast majority of Moon's passing yardage came from the NFL, nearly 50,000 yards. (49,325).

Anyway, it was just for a fun comparison.

I'm ready for Alex Smith to gunsling 4K+ this year for the Chiefs! Heh.

You can't watch this and not get choked up. Dude seems like such a great person, and can't wait til he can play.

Of all our picks, I'm actually most excited about Lattimore. It's definitely possible that his knee injury will be too much to overcome, but I think his potential upside in a year or so is huge. Especially with Gore aging and nearing the twilight of his career.

As accurate as Smith was over the last year for the 49ers, and as good a QB coach as Andy Reid seems to be, I don't think that'll be too tough to do. Reid never seemed to be able to pound the rock in Philly. I'll be surprised if he can in KC.

The AFC West should be interesting this year. It's a given the Raiders will suck. I have no idea how Mccoy will do with my hometown Chargers, but I loved their draft, getting three starters. The Broncs should be better with Welker, which is a bit worrisome. The Chiefs likewise should be better with Andy Reid, although it'll be interesting to see what he can do with that team.
