Thanks KC! Probably give up a 3rd rounder which will end up turning out to be a baller CB who helps us win a Super Bowl after Smith goes out to a concussion in week 4.

Yes, I'd rather see the Chiefs have Kaepernick than Smith. Yep, all the 49'ers rejects end up in KC for some reason. (BTW, I can't believe Steve Deberg isn't an NFL quarterback coach somewhere, he was awesome at the play-action.) And yeah, Smith will probably get hurt.

I just don't see a better option than Smith out there for the Chiefs 'right now'. Should they draft a QB they see a potential leader in? Absolutely.

NFL player works low-wage fast-food job in off-season
2 days ago
If your job paid $390,000 a year, would you spend your vacation working for minimum wage? That's what NFL rookie Terrance Ganaway is doing this off-season. After joking on Twitter that he needed a job, the Rams running back is now making sandwiches at a Waco, Texas, Jimmy John's, while training for the team. Why go from helmet to hairnet? "1. I have too much free time. 2. Tell my kids [someday] I worked two jobs to put them through school. 3. Cause the pay is really good," he tweeted. He's not entirely joking. "I just wanted to stay fit, stay out of trouble ... try to save ? and not spend a lot of money," he said.
As funny as this is, dude's got a good head on his shoulders.

Manti Te'o doing his best Tom Brady impersenation at the combine. 4.81, yikes....
I'm about 95% sure whoever drafts Te'o will regret it. He just doesn't look like a very good player to me. I have no idea how he's rated as one of the top ILB's this year.

Don't bet on the Ravens drafting him.

Fucking lol at that GIF... Just read he was listed at 255 in ND's press book, and weighed in today at 240. No mas. That said, he'll be passed on and then the piece of trash Patriots will get him w/ a throw away pick and he'll end up a fucking Pro Bowler. Watch.

Who are you kidding. He's going at 3 to the Raiders or 6 to the Browns! Worst case scenario Cinci takes him to replace Maualuga.

And the Pats aren't paying much attention to the combine anyway by the looks of things.

I'm guessing a conditional 2014 draft pick for Smith. Something that starts as a 4th and can become as high as a second. Niners have a ton of draft picks this year on a team in which rookies can barely get on the active roster, much less the field.

I remember when the Bengals drafted Maualuga, after he fell from a projected mid 1st to the early second. Marvin Lewis said something to the effect of "I don't know what the other teams were seeing, but he was far and away at the top of our boards." 4 years later and he is the worst starting MLB in the league. That was also before the Bengals had a scouting department though.

Even if Teo ran a 4.5 40 it'd be damned hard to forget how he was pushed around like a shopping cart against the most pro-like offensive linemen he ever saw in college. Just totally outclassed and manhandled. The guy looked like Ray Lewis in the Super Bowl...only he's not 37 or whatever and retiring out of a hall of fame career.
