Ellerbee is great, but we've kind of run him into the ground the past couple seasons. I'd be more wary of him being injury prone than his play. He has a nose for the ball, good tackler, he's a playmaker. We really didn't use him enough in his earlier years due to combination of Ray Lewis hogging snaps and being in Harbaugh's doghouse after being a showboat in a preseason pick six. Check this shit out though:

Remember seeing that hit, didn't realize it was Ellerbe. Has that guy woken up yet, christ what a hit.

Fins changing uniform logo this season. Not a fan of uniform changes, and despise the block letters switch they did years ago.

Possible leaked logo.....Not horrible, but just leave this shit alone.

If we need a silver lining, pats resigned Talib today.
And looks like lloyd might get cut since he won't renegotiate his deal.
Not the right year for a decent but not superstar receiver to try and argue.

Ed Reed in New Orleans. I'm sure he's just visiting family and will be a Texan, but I can still dream. Darren Sharper helped get us to that superbowl in '09, I'm all aboard signing old good safeties.

Make it happen Loomis.

At least the dolphin isn't wearing a football helmet anymore, that was retarded. It wasn't even a Dolphins helmet.

Christ, I go on vacation for a week and there are no players left on the Ravens.

If this tells you anything, Ed Reed can take his can't tackle anymore ass somewhere else if he wants one last payday. Love the guy but he's so busted up at this point, it really doesn't matter to me if they resign him or he goes elsewhere.

And lol at Ellerbe and Kruger getting 75 mil in contracts. A part time pass rusher and a a decent but not great LB... Good luck guys!

McLovin on the Dan Patrick show actually had a nice take on this last week. When doing his FA winners/losers he declared any team taking Ravens/Steelers players are losers. Two teams who draft/get guys that fit perfectly in their systems and don't particularly work well in other ones. Mostly in reference to defensive guys. Might have included the Patriots on the list of teams not to take guys from too.

Paying big for a LB from the Steelers or Ravens or paying big for a receiver from the Pats is generally just not gonna work out. Welker might be the exception because he's not going to a team with a shit QB, similar to how Chad Brown worked out for the Seahawks for a few years because they were running a Steelery system at the time.

Whats the best prediction for Steelers and ravens this year?

Fighting tooth and nail to stay above .500?
