Whatever is going on the Vikings have done a pretty decent job of keeping the details from getting out in the open.

The things we know about him on the field are he's obviously dynamic in open space, isn't afraid of contact and is good on special teams. However, he's not the most durable guy in the world and he's obviously not a real outside WR threat.

Sports radio speculation is its really right now all about his contract. The midseason stuff was a combination of locker room issues and most importantly the injuries he was having. There was also some rumors about him not being happy about the treatment plan the Vikings had for his ankle. No clue on truth to that though. Right now though, he wants WR1 money.

I like him when he's on the field a lot but as absolutely horrible as the whole receiving group is for the Vikings I'm not sure they can really pay him that moneyandupgrade enough elsewhere.

Harvin was an idiot at Florida.

But he is a good football player and has the ability to get lose and make plays (which the league is starving for. How many guys are legitimate big time play makers? Adrian Peterson, Calvin Johnson, (Chris Johnson when he was alive) Rob Gronkowski, Victor Cruz, RGKnee, Kaepernick, and a few others, but there isnt an embarrassment of them or something) something most teams are looking for at that position. Then you add in special teams ability, which the league is even more hungry for and you have a valuable player.

He just needs to get in the right locker room. Leslie Frasier isnt exactly Bill Parcels.

edit: Fuck I would love to have that guy on the Niners. They are probably letting Ginn walk and Kyle Williams just needs to stay hurt and get cut and no one knows what Jenkins is about so bringing in Harvin to compete with Manningham for #2 spot would be great and he would instantly take Ginn's spot on special teams.

And while yes it looks like it hurt, doesn't look like it's a 'Has to learn to walk again' injury. I've seen much worse do much less damage.
