Talk about where careers go to die as a QB. The Jets have nothing there and addressed nothing on offense in the draft. The way the draft is now structured, those with picks high in round 2 get the night to work deals for a huge advantage whereas it was round 1 and 2 before. Fucking 49ers get TWO round 2 picks and got the best safety in the draft. I was hoping thats who the Steelers would take at 17. Apparently everyone is giving the Steelers an A+ for Jarvis Jones.

I hope to shit I am wrong about this kid, I will happily eat my words. Wtf do we do at linebadker now though? Move Worilds to ILB so Jones can play in Harrisons spot? No idea how the Steelers are going to mix and match this because Jason Worilds was supposed to be the heir apparent to Harrison.

The draft for the AFC East every year is basically the same. Everyone but the Patriots shit it up. Patriots draft well and amazingly they win the division like 243242342342342 times in a row.

The Rg3 trade is reaping some huge benefits for the Rams.

Jared Cook,
Tavon Austin
Alex Ogletree (who I wanted over Jones)
Jake Long.

That's a shit ton of talent they did not have. Imagine if they could get someone like Lacy if he dropped, or Lattimore if he gets healthy and back to form. Loving the Rams offseason so far, they could be a sleeper pick to make some noise this year. NFC west used to be laughable, but is probably going to be one of the toughest divisions in football

NFC West is gonna be crazy. All 4 will probably have top 10 defenses, and all will have improved offenses from last season. Shit, the Rams went 4-1-1 in the division last year with their only loss from a last minute td in Seattle.

Pretty amazing since the division has been a joke for a decade other than the Seahawks and Cardinals having a good season or two. Hell, it was only 2010 when the 7-9 Seahawks made the playoffs haha.

Dunno man, I don't think Carson Palmer is gonna make a massive difference in AZ, and we all know the Rams won't be much better than .500 with Fisher.

NFLN saying Jacksonville is going to likely take Jonathan Banks at corner at 33. Smith to the Eagles would be a coup for Chip Kelly right after that.

SF is sandwiched in between Jackonville and Philly with the 2nd pick in round 2 and is in an amazing trade spot if someone wants to jump Philly as well.

I personally thought the Rams were the big winner of the first round. Since I'm forced to watch their games every week, I'm happy for them.

My initial reaction to the Bengals pick was WTF? But now I'm excited about the Bengals adopting a two TE set. Eifert will be an impact player from the start and Dalton needs more weapons around him. We have a need at S, but I think what is available at the second round isn't much worse than Elam. I'm pretty sure the Bengals wanted Reid, but the 49ers traded up and grabbed him before we could.

Everyone seems to think the Bengals will go after Lacy. I don't see that happening. Giovani Bernard in the third round.

No hometown discount double check Im guessing.

Take Romo's and add 20% imo

edit: NFL.com stoled my punchline as obvious as it was =(

5 years $110 mil. Hmm was expecting to to be more. Glad it's not a shit ton more than Flacco/Brees/Manning deals. Hopefully QB salaries stop exploding and eating into such a huge % of cap space.

Holy shit he gets $40mil. this season!

He deserves it more then Flacco Romo etc. Best QB in the NFL atm imo.

Steelers also just signed LaRod Stephens-Howling at RB...

/whooptyfuckingdoo

Welp there goes any shot at a legit rb this offseason.

I just read some gaudy statline on him yesterday which included having the highest QB rating in NFL history (104.9 or something insane).

one thing about rodgers & the qb rating metric - it's debatable whether it favors scrambling/rushing too much. Not to take anything @ all away from Rodgers, can just watch him to see top 5 all time hall of fame greatness.
