If anything positive can come out of this game tonight for the Vikings it's that people who were screaming about putting Webb in all year were finally shut up.

Joe Webb has single-handedly legitimized the phrase "Christian Ponder's dazzling aerial assault.
Joe Webb must have taken a page out of the Texan's book then.

i dont think i ever seen a 35% completion rate for a game, until joe webb's performance today

.. well Ponder only made 1 completion to a WR in their first matchup. Was almost the first game ever to have 0 completions to a WR until they got it in the 4th quarter. So Webb... actually did better than Ponder in GB.

If you watched the game then you would have known there were dropped passes left and right, he went 12/25 in that game with 7+ dropped passes. You can't blame Ponder for that, and WR or not, he had a TD in the 2nd quarter to Rudolph.

Ponder is light years better then Webb.

Worse completion percentage, but arguably a better game than this epic performance in a victory no less.

Edit: Although Brady's in this loss pretty much takes the cake besides the amazing performance by Big Ben in his 1st Super Bowl victory...or likely the all time biggest fail in a playoff game, the infamous Jake Delhomme v. the Cardinals back in '08http://scores.espn.go.com/nfl/boxscore?gameId=290110029

Hope tomorrows games bring more excitement than today's. Unless you were a Texans/GB fan those games were barely watchable.

I am rooting for the Texans because they are from Texas and that game was fucking boring as shit. I'll root for them and be happy if they win it all, but it just wouldn't be the same as if it were my team. Though my ultimate dream football wise would be for a all Texas SB.

God. Just got back home from the bars after that game. Fuck. You guys have to understand this pain a little bit right? Webb was just atrocious to watch. I'm not saying you add Ponder and we win this game, but at least we wouldn't have lost it right out of the gates. Fuck that was just awful.

No matter what happens, at least Flacco probably won't go down as the worst QB in the playoffs now.

Everyone's going for 3rd worst at this point. Dalton was shit too. Even though he had a pass to win it with about 4 minutes left in that game.

They were in a position to win that game in spite of Dalton. Offense was outscored by the defense 7 to 6 and Green-Ellis actually looked like an above average NFL running back (for a day).

I still fail to see the logic of putting him in at the first playoff game, given how much faster people play in the playoffs. They should have gone with Ponder. Can anyone tell me the coach's point of view on this?

Yeah looked like he decided to be Red-Ellis for a day
