I can't bring myself to give a shit about Cowboys/Giants. The Packers/49ers game was fucking great though. Packers looked good. They had to hate going into candlestick for their first game after getting embarrassed there in the playoffs.
Loved the hell out of Kaep's 400 yard passing game. Can't wait to see what happens when Crabtree gets back. Steve Young always says that no matter how good you run you're not a quarterback until you can win the game from the pocket.
Eric Reid looks great. I can't get enough badass defenders in the backfield and SF has an embarrassment of riches at linebacker already.
All in all it was a great start to the season and even though I am an Aaron Rodgers fan and sort of root for the Packers when they're not playing SF I loved the taste of Clay Matthew's tears tonight.

I honestly can't get excited about this win. It was way closer than it should have been, Eli still tore them a new one despite throwing three interceptions, and the defense should send a gift basket to the Giants RBs for giving them the win on a silver platter.

Not much to say about that one.
But yeah, Eli's first two interceptions were absolutely awful, David Wilson's turnover, the fucking muffed punt, the non-existent linebacker play as Witten, YET AGAIN, tore us a new one, and then the nail in the coughlin. Just a pitiful game, and yet they were right there in the end... I don't know what that says, but... yeah.

That last TD they scored was garbage and Dallas trying to run out the clock, put 5 minutes up on the clock and that drive wouldn't have happened like that, blah blah blah prevent defense.
