That game was a trainwreck. Thursday night games are generally always bad but last night's was sloppier than usual.

As a NE fan, I'm actually not that discouraged. Granted, they have played 2 crappy teams, but they still managed to win both games, despite playing not really playing well themselves. Their defense seems better than last year. The offence clearly sucks right now, but the rookie receivers will get better and the hurt people will eventually return (I hope). Supposedly, that kid Dobson never dropped a single pass when at Marshall, so I'm chalking his bad performance up to nerves. Give the Jet's defense some credit also, they have been really good against the run thus far and did a decent job of getting pressure on Brady.

Doesn't matter, Saints are back this year. Conference is mathematically eliminated.

Granted 2-0 is 2-0 but I don't see how you can watch those games and not feel nervous. They played two undisputed basement dwellers and just managed to get an ugly win. A good Pats team would have won either game by 30.
