Pats started 1-2 last year and ended up 12-4. As much as I hate them, there's no way I'd count them out. It seems more like they're playing their worst yet are still 2-0

As long as the Patriots are still in the AFC East and have Belichick and Brady, they're basically guaranteed a playoff spot.

What a fucking joke. Clay Matthews gets fined $15k for a clothesline tackle 3 yards out of bounds and Anquan Boldin gets fined $8k for this completely legal, unpenalized block?

It's not supposed to be a gif, just a still picture. It's blurry cause it's just a screen capture that they did from the game film.

I see a lot of debate going on, but I think there's one thing we can agree on: Tom Brady sucks now and has always been overrated and only won through cheating and he probably fucked that baby goat from that one picture, while wearing Uggs.

I mean, on that much we are all at least in 100% accordance.

How the hell did the Steelers get so bad and Roethlisberger get so old, so quick? Who the fuck are they paying that they almost had to lose Emmanuel fucking Sanders to a Patriots offer sheet? What the fuck is wrong in Pittsburgh.

The Steelers are probably better than what we saw in Week 1. Probably. Part of the problem in Pittsburgh is that they haven't been able to land a solid RB in the draft. Big Ben scrambling and taking sacks is also taking its toll. There also aren't enough dudes to throw to anymore. The defense could still end up in the top 10, but the offense could very well be in the bottom third - maybe even bottom quarter.

I also think Mike Tomlin kind of sucks.

Having no O-line for most of your career would age anyone.

Of course they are better than week 1, but that's only because it's hard to be worse.

I have no idea on Tomlin.

I've preached patience with Todd Haley, but week 1 seemed to indicate that The Ben is going to take hits no matter how much you try to design the offense to avoid it. See point 1.

The defense will probably finish top 5 as usual, doesn't matter.

If week 1 was a real indicator I would be stunned if the offense finished above the bottom 5.

Yeah. All that cautious optimism I had all offseason drained down my leg like a liquid shit throughout the first game.

Tom Brady sucks now, let's keep focused.

I don't think Tomlin sucks. I've seen people say he's finally run out of Cowher's players, but to me there's too many years between them now to say that.

But yes, regardless of who drafted them wasn't half the Pittsburgh starting lineup qualified for AARP membership like just a year or two ago? Even the Model Franchises (tm) can't win forever. People put too much stock in that shit, Pittsburgh probably just doesn't have the talent and needs to reload.

Trade Rothlisburger to the Vikings for their next 3 1st round draft picks, trade Polamalu for whatever kings ransom you can get for him and rebuild faster

Here we have a man that remembers Hershel Walker=P

I'm not wholly opposed to the idea of swapping Ben for picks. In the current NFL though it's a scary prospect to send a legit starting QB away. There's no Andrew Luck I know of right now, Teddy Bridgewater doesn't have that "sure thing" tag.
