I hear this Brady Quinn guy is pretty good. He lost out on the backup job to Tarvaris Jackson in Seattle and then was signed by the Jets last month and released 5 days later. He was probably too awesome for them to handle.

This reject went on to pass 14-20 (70% completion rate), 200 yards, 1 TD for a 120 QB rating after stepping in for the injured Jay Cutler last week.

I'll take it.

The McCown stats really soured me on Cutler. If McCown comes out playing like this for the next few weeks, it doesnt bode very well for Cutler considering this is his final contract year.

Even I would be apprehensive giving him $10-15M per year to keep churning out 200 yards and 1 TD, game after game. With the offensive line and the weapons we have, I think I'd rather take a chance on a different QB if even fucking Josh McCown can make himself look like an elite QB with this offense.
