All I know is LOL if Rodgers is out any sort of significant amount of time and GB brings back Flynn, and he tears it up for a game or two and parlays that into another contract.

It's funny Ray can murder someone and continue to play but racism gets the league to run a train on your ass. Either way he's a piece of crap and hopefully done.

Honestly, I mostly attribute this win to Jay Cutler. Rodgers didn't have the desire to play against a "lesser" team and bitched out, and from the moment Seneca Wallace stepped in it was a done deal. Basically Cutler's aura convinced Rodgers to half-ass it, Rodger's half-assing lead to him being "hurt", and Rodgers faggotass naptime pussyrest lead to the Bears winning.

So yeah, Jay Cutler just destroyed Green Bay without even trying. Because he never tries. Deal with that, you worthless cheddarhead faggots.

As big of a Jay homer I have been, he simply hasnt performed as well as he was expected to even with all the tools he has been given - a top NFL offensive line, Martellus Bennett, Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffery as your receivers. Michael Bush and Matt Forte as your running backs, etc. That Josh McCown performance last week pretty much opened my eyes.
So you're saying that switching QB's is the right choice and thus the odds of the Bears reaching the play-offs have improved from 50/50 to 2/3?

Does anyone else think the Incognito thing is a little overblown? I feel like people probably say fucked up shit in the locker room all the time and it's all in good fun. He made the mistake of putting it someplace where it was recorded and Martin is a bitch so he showed it out of context and everybody has to get up in arms about it. I've seen Any Given Sunday, all kinds of shit goes down in the locker room. Hell I have heard worse stuff than that in a high school locker room.

I think being forced to pay 15k so other people could go to Vegas on your dime is a bit much. And I am willing to bet if this was any other player it wouldn't be nearly as blown up. Ingonito has a history of being a douche going all the way back to college.

It is a bit much, although I wonder how he was "forced" to pay. I doubt that it was at gunpoint or anything. I would have no problem with him being fined or even suspended or forced to pay the rookies back, but the whole "Incognito is human garbage and must never play football again and hopefully he will be murdered in his sleep" storyline in the media is making too much of the situation IMO. Also Martin is a pussy.

No. If it were one or two outbursts of insanity, I could write it off. If it were contained to the locker room, I could write it off.

Incognito went out of his way to make this dude's life a shit hole, and fucked with him on and off the field.

Martin may indeed be a pussy, and he may very well have some mental issues, but that's still no excuse for tormenting him. You are a man grown. Act like it.

Who are we kidding here.

Seneca Wallace was starting for 50+ of those minutes and the Bears won only by 1 score.

Had McClellin not injured Rodgers, Bears would have likely lost by double digits. Now all we have to do is cripple Stafford and NFC North is all ours
Pretty much this. Plus this is what coach McFatty gets for not having a real backup who knows the system. Dude has only been here two months and takes like five fucking snaps per week. I am amazed we did not have any center fumble exchanges. I bet Flynn is back in Green Bay before the week's end. But mainly, fuck McCarthy. Years of Old Number 4 spoiled him into thinking he would never need a QB, despite Rodgers being known for having somewhat of a glass jaw as a Cal Bear and the obvious fact that there is a ridiculously high attrition rate on starting QBs in pass happy offenses.

Bears certainly took full advantage of the situation, though, so hats off to them. The only thing better than the Rodgers injury for the Bears was the Cutler injury, since McCown is a much more consistent QB than Pouty McSeatbelt. Their special teams are really awful, though. The only way I would be concerned about the Lions is if the Cutler is starting, since he is scared shitless of Su. If McCown starts that game, the Bears win, mostly because the Lions are rivaled only by the Cowboys in their ability to shoot themselves in the foot and without Cutler under center the Bears will have the good sense not to get in the way of them doing that.

I still think the Packers are the team to beat in the NFC North, though. Our remaining schedule is soft as fuck and McFatty will be forced to five Wallace (or Flynn) full reps for the foreseeable future. Also, we will be getting nearly all of our main starters back, other than Rodgers, in the next couple weeks which will help, especially on Defense. Well, except Finley, but we are better off with old alligator arms riding the pine, anyhow. We won't do shit once we hit the playoffs, though, but having Rodgers in would not have let us run much deeper in my opinion anyhow, given the likely competition.

No, it's not overblown. I think you can look to the chorus of hall of famers being "yo, that shit is fucked up" and "that's not fucking normal" to allay any notion of that being how it is in the NFL. Yeah, fucked up hazing rituals happen through all levels and people have rightly tried to stamp it out, which is just another reason why the response has been nice. These culture shifts start at the NFL and carry over to all levels.

It's not like Martin hasn't been in locker rooms in high school and college. There isn't any job where it's ok to threaten to kill your coworker and shit in his mouth. I think it's highly fucking likely Incognito crossed a line from locker room high jinks to full on harassment.

It may have reached an unnecessary level of media sensationalism, but I think Incognito seriously crossed some boundaries from good-times pranking to harassment/stalking of a co-worker. Roll that in with his well-deserved rep for being a dirty player, and seeing him blackballed is karma in action.

Well, in this thread I'm rarely serious. Most threads actually, but I digress...

I hold no animosity toward any fan that I can think of, except maybe for Dazael, or Sutekh, or maybe dioblaire (He's a Raiders fan, he doesn't really count). Oh, and Tarrant. Seriously, fuck that guy and his Lions.
Catching up on the thread... and I come across this. You offend me, sir. I am a Denver fan. Being a fan of the Raiders /shudder.

I truly do apologize, then. No one should be unjustly considered a Raiders fan. I also look forward to the ass stomping Denver will be providing in two weeks.

I really do hope the game is close, though. If Manning is on his game, we're fucked. But if our defense can shake him early, we've got a shot.
