I was/am thinking last few years, mainly last year when they would have won a Superbowl with tiny hands.

Let's not go out of the way to be a retard. They are still 6-3 and fresh off a Super Bowl appearance. I'd take Jim Harbaugh as my coach. Fucking hell, did I just defend the god damn Niners?

All I am thinking is Smith would have got them to the Superbowl and won.

Pretty much tired of hearing Michaels and Collinsworth talk about Rob Ryan - the guy was not fired following a Super Bowl title or something. They're acting like Sean Payton is somehow not the brains in New Orleans. Ryan brothers really cast this spell on the media sometimes.
I was initially excited about the Rob Ryan hire because I felt Wade's defense was too passive. Then two years of defensive mediocrity followed and Jerry decided to let JG have a say in the defensive side of things and JG had apparently wanted to switch to a 4-3 since he took over. Jerry overruled him initially, hence Ryan, but JG had some leverage after 2012's performance. Injuries be damned, there were more than a couple of games where the defense couldn't get shit done when it needed to which is why things kept falling to Romo to bail them out. But there's only so many times you can go to that well before it backfires (Broncos in 2012 playoffs are a good example). That's not to excuse the current defense but to sort of qualify why Ryan isn't around anymore. If they had decided to stick with the 3-4 then Ryan likely would have stuck around but JG saw an opportunity to make a switch (and with a big named DC on the market no less), and took it.

This defense though, is worse (not "might be worse", "is worse"). I'm wondering if that has more to do with the revolving door along the defensive line, or the lack of good safeties, or the scheme or what but against any QB that can sling the ball, they've taken it up the ass. Both Mannings, Rivers, now Brees. God only knows how they managed to contain Nick Foles given how he's played in games not against Dallas but I don't see that happening the next time they meet. Oh, and they've got Eli again plus a game against Rodgers. Let us not also forget RG3.

This will be the worst defense in the history of the league. There's a good chance they'll have that title by Week 15.

I feel like I randomly know more about the Cowboys and Niners from this board than I ever would otherwise.

Incognito talked about how Martin sent him a text threatening him and his family.

Losing Sean Lee is the worst injury of all for the Cowboys, just slightly below if they lost Romo. The defense looked like chickens with their head cut off after Lee went out, they depend on him to make all the play calls on the field.

I didn't think the Cowboys could lose more defensive starters than they did last year but it's happened. At this point only 3 starters are healthy (Carr, Church, Carter).

How bout them Giants?!
Cleary going to win the division after starting 0-6. I laughed out loud when Michaels and Collinsworth said dallas is still the team to beat in their division. With that defense? Dallas will be lucky to finish 7-9, fortunately for them that still will give them a chance to win their division.
