Blount is hardly a slouch. You probably heard of him while he was at Oregon (maybe not for his playing but for his right hook), he also had a 1000 yard season with the Bucs as a rookie. Pats are just good at turning around troubled players.

I think the Patriots were a lot more impressive this weekend than the Broncos. The Pats will win.

I also think the 49ers are playing better than Seattle and more specifically Kaeperbro is having a better second half of the season than Wilson. The two teams hate each other though so I hope Seattle comes in charged up and wins. Should be close regardless. The Seattle offense needs to get it together.
Niners have much better receivers now that Crabtree is healthy imo. When Golden Tate is your best receiver you have issues.

As long as the seahawks don't win the SB I am happy. Something about that teams just makes me dislike them.

If the Seahawks and Patriots are playing in the superbowl it's going to improve the food at my SB party because I will be happy to cook rather than watching the game that I am hoping for both teams to lose.

Same here. Not sure what it is, but I really dislike them. I actually like a lot of the Niners players, and wouldn't mind seeing the players (Willis and Gore mostly) get a ring, but I feel like they are some of the most boring games to watch. I also don't want to hear more shit about another championship for that team.

I don't really care either way about Manning or Brady. I wouldn't mind seeing Brady get another just to shut everyone up about Spygate and the comparisons to Manning, and I wouldn't mind Manning just because dude is probably the greatest QB since Baugh and deserves another.

20% of the Pats are injured. The sheer fact that they are one game from the Super Bowl should make every team in the league worried. This is a team that had the worst possible year in regards to Roster hits, and they have a shot at the big show. Amazes me how much the blind Pats hate is.

Most of those extremely hard to replace players, and yet this team managed to make it to the divisional championship. Any team that can manage this far after so much roster damage is a damn fine coached team. Blount? Thompkins? Who are these guys? No one knew their names before.
Homers gonna homer. A lot of teams have a lot of injuries, the Pats aren't special. There's a few teams with more starters out and teams like the Cowboys didn't have as many starters hurt, but had injuries to the backups to the backups to the backups. That'll kill your team a way more. Nobody gives a shit about that and this is just another season where Romo choked away big ones and Jerry Jones was Jerry Jones

It's probably the noise greater than an earthquake they pump into their stadium preventing other teams from actually communicating with their players. That does tend to make a game dependent on play calling and coaching a bit tougher.

Until they get caught, it's all good stuff. See the 2000-2006 Patriots for reasoning why...

I do think Russel Wilson is hugely overrated, and the Hags D is a bit underrated. Not much different than Kaep and the 49ers.

I don't think the Patriots will beat either of the NFC teams. The Bronco's sure as fuck will not.

They don't pump any noise into the stadium. It was specifically designed to redirect the sound from the seats onto the playing surface. They're great fans out there, don't get me wrong, but it's not the same as playing in a traditional wide open bowl stadium. They fucking get down in Arrowhead with or without an obvious parabolic roof design and I have to even give Browns fans a ton of credit, those people go nuts for their annual dumpster fire.

Unlike Redskins fans who all leave early if there's snow flurries.
I haven't even been since 2009. Hate everything about the place: the location, the stadium experience, the fact that I'm temporarily sharing a zip code with Dan Snyder, etc. The previous owner sure was a great and smart guy building that dump all the way out in the hellhole known as P.G. County, MD.

You sure about that? I remember very specifically reading an article a few years ago by a guy who sat next to a speaker and could hear that they were pumping in crowd noise. It's possible things have changed since, but they did at one point recently (as do several other teams).

I absolutely think the 49ers are better than the Seahawks, but I don't know that they will beat them in Seattle. For me I can't help but think of the last 2 trips there, and neither were competitive. I understand they are a different team now than they were week 2, but I have this feeling that the 49ers have some mental issues playing there, especially Kaepernick. If they can manage to set the tone early, and keep the offense somewhat productive, they have a chance. But if they fall behind at all, I fear it will be ugly.

See, all the conventional thinking behind Seattles homefield advantage is beyond pervasive now. Its all everyone can talk about. The problem is the Panthers were a quality team, and the Panthers only lost at home once all year, and that was to the Seahawks--yet the 49ers handled them pretty convincingly. They are a great road team, having only lost 2 road games all year, one being the bad loss in Seattle in week 2. (the other was a close bullshit game in Nola which they should have won if not for penalty on Brees). So what does this all mean? They are the best road team in the NFL.

Not only that but Wilson has been playing like shit, outside of a few nice clutch throws to ice a game. So, if the 49ers can bottle up Lynch, they can win in Seattle. Carson Palmer threw 4 picks and the Cardinals still went up there and beat them. Albeit its a different atmosphere and opponent, but the Hawks arent as invincible as most may think. Also, the 49ers have the low seed, wild card, hottest team thing going for them ala last years Ravens and the 2011 Giants etc.

edit: Would also like to say that Ahmad Brooks deserves more credit. In the Panthers game, Captain Faggerlyn and Dreyton Florence were making some bitch ass tackles early in the game and were playing chippy as fuck. When the Niners defense got on the field it looked like they fed off that and came with the same intensity, no one more than Brooks. After the stop on Newton at the goaline not many of the Panthers players were jawing with him, most of whom decided to go fuck with Tarrel Brown or some other smaller dude instead. Brooks is a fucking bear.

Someone should post a gif of Browns "ballerina" defense he deployed against Steve Smith in the endzone. That was one of the cutest "defensive" plays I have ever seen. He never played the ball and thought it was a good idea to flail his arms up and out like a faggot...lmao.

Fuck every single team left in the playoffs. Every single one. I don't want any of them to win, and I want their fans to suffer. Fuck you.

So home field advantage doesn't mean anything to the Seahawks, because the Panthers were good at home and San Fran beat them? Ok I guess.

The fact remains that the last two times the 49ers played in Seattle, the Seahawks made them look like bitches. Absolutely embarrassed them. Until the 49ers can put their big boy pants on and actually compete in Centurylink, you're going to have to hear about it

I can't wait for the pats to win the Super Bowl and then have the entire city of Boston ignore Brady as he tries to high five them in the parade. It'll be epic.
