You should see the stuff they put down as artificial turf these days though.

They apparently upgraded to the Latitude 36 grass that the Packers use. I'm not sure the issue is the grass so much as it is the grounds crew fucking sucks and they host a fuck load of other events during the season. Even for the 3rd preseason game it looked a bit rough already. There's no way that shit is going to look good at the end of the season. With how fast the Redskins are built now, there's absolutely no reason not to have field turf.

Edit: And moontayle, it's actually not all that expensive. I was looking at putting some down because I live in the Mojave and it'd be nice for the dog. I priced it out for the backyard and it's not that bad. When you figure that you don't have to do anything to maintain it (like mowing or watering) and it has a long life span, it's a good deal. The reason I didn't go with it is apparently it gets hot as shit still, so it'd basically burn my dog's feet.

I remember when we opened the MNF season on the road at the Jets and there was a lightning delay. We won like 9-6.
