I just don't get Teebow. I hope he has a tradeskill haha.
You're kidding right? Tebow has well off parents, has already made millions playing NFL football and can get a job working for any sports media outlet he wants the second he says "hey I'm looking for a gig". This gives him the luxury to try to chase his dream of being an NFL QB (again) regardless of how slim the chances.

Has he made millions just from football alone? I don't think he has but maybe I'm mistaken.

He could easily go into motivational speaking though and make 50k per appearence.

I still think it's weird the Bills haven't given him a call, he's better then what they are going to put on the field on Sunday.

Jets paid him 1.5mil last season I believe. I think if he makes a roster this year the Jets are on the hook for another 750k or so. Not sure how his Broncos contract works out, but it was 8.7mil "guaranteed" over 5 years initially.

Plus you could consider his endorsements as "from football". So yeah, he's theoretically made millions from football. Only his accountant could tell us the real numbers.

Do players make money off their jerseys? His was one of the best selling for a while there.

I think they get a cut of it, how much though I'm not sure. Do the Broncos still owe him at all?

I still don't get why he's not in a Bills uniform.

Why would he be in a Bill's uniform?

wait: Because they have shit for QB's? How is adding Tebow suppose to help that? I dunno how far I'd have to go through current free agents before I would go with Tebow, probably more than 10.

I'm not really sure you can argue his succsses and if they tried to give Matt Leinart a chance then I'm not sure how you can argue Tebow would do any worse.

The bills are up a shit creek, and Tebow at the moment is the best chance at a paddle that they have imo even if it's a shitty paddle.

Can't argue with his success? Are you shitting me? Have you watched the man play professional football? Were you wowed that Denver managed to win a playoff game in spite of his awful quarterbacking? Did you see the preseason? Are you Skip Bayless? How about another unemployed player with way more success than Tebow in the NFL: Vince Young.

Leinart was never going to happen. It's near impossible to bring in a QB now. They've missed all the camp and don't know the system plus at this point you're scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Why, did they cut EJ Manuel or something?
He's starting on Sunday.

Wow, Ed Reed and Anquan Boldin leaving has really had an impact.
Someone said here during the game that Flacco's receivers were making him look bad. Reminds me how 75% of Flacco's playoff run should be attributed to Anquan Boldin making ridiculous catch after ridiculous catch.

While I don't disagree with your premise, saying Vince Young has had way more success than Tim Tebow is a pretty silly statement.

If you could bitch more about some imaginary cabal of people who are shoving ELITE FLACCO down our throats on a messageboard where no one does that seriously that would be fantastic.

I wasn't bitching about Flacco genius, I was pointing out how the decline of the Ravens in this game from last season should be more attributed to losing the likes of Anquan Boldin and Ed Reed than Ray Lewis who was largely irrelevant all of last season, including the Super Bowl.

Well, my post was fraught with sarcasm, but whatever, I know it's hard to detect on a forum.

I was just very surprised how badly the Ravens defensive backfield played in the second half. And how effective Manning was.

Line up Giants fans: Peyton Manning is twice the QB his brother is.
