Wilson with his reputation calls. 2 for kneeing cause Isle tries to jump out of the way of a normal check, then 2 for charging because he's 6'4. The 2nd hit was kind of to chest and head simultaneously, but it was more based on height difference...and all shoulder from Wilson.

Or basically what happens when 6'4 meets 5'10. Not that you want to blame a guy for being short, but it wasn't like Wilson left his feet into the hit, and he didn't get his elbow up, just pure shoulder looking to hit the guy who just had the puck.

Johannson with a literal tap in off a great pass from Ovechkin. Holy shit that reminded me of Federov not looking up with under 5 minutes to go in Game 7 against Philly back in '08

If we're talking about the same play, I think Johannson literally had to be trying to miss the half empty net and tip it back towards Halak. Crazy last 10 minutes or so, chances both ways. I know it's 1-1, but the pace makes me think we don't get past 1st OT. Someone is going to score, I just hope it's the Caps.

Heart you bro, fuck my life though, why another OT? Every game between us this year up in Nassau has gone to OT. In before we're talking about this every thing before Game 6 where we'll get to freak the fuck out again.
Fuck my life. I almost want to say just make it quick either way. I don't want to deal with some marathon 4OT Easter Epic copy.

Might have to just listen on the radio anytime it's in OT after that finish. Great game, tough series. I didn't mean to harp on you too much lurking, I just found the idea that a tied game with 2 periods to go being impossible to win for the Caps was a little odd. 2-2 going back to DC, each team has won an OT game. About where I expected. Wouldn't be shocked if it goes 7.

Pekka Rinne with the Not Top 10 moment of the playoffs. Puck got stuck in his gear after he raced out to stop a hard around. Ref literally had his hand down each leg pad trying to find puck. Probably took 3 or 4 minutes of Rinne checking every nook and cranny in his gear before he found it. Chicago fans and even Quennville on Hawks bench were laughing about it.
All the hawks do is play ot games in the playoffs. These last couple of years are taking a toll on me.
My Flames are looking pretty good so far, Vancouver might take game 5 in Van but I think we wrap it up at the latest in game 6 at home. It sucks not being in Calgary though, especially as I live in Europe now and an 8pm start in Calgary is 4am for me, makes it kinda tough to watch the games. Also, this is the first playoff run that I haven't been in Calgary for (I've been gone for five years, but sadly this wasn't an issue until now) and I miss the atmosphere around the city during the hockey playoffs, everyone wearing jerseys to work and those kinds of things.
Oh well, unless the Jets pull off some kind of miracle against the Ducks I expect the Flames run will also end against Anaheim, but Hiller facing his old team in the playoffs will make for an interesting side story. I just hope for some decent games as if I'm going to stay up that late/get up that early to watch I don't want to see some 5-1 snoozefest.
