I think the Steelers had like 2 starters tonight versus what they were supposed to have on the field opening day on defense. Minkah, TJ Watt, Tuitt, Alualu, etc

This is the worst I have ever seen a Steelers D

They're just trying to make it sound sensational, ruling out a splenic injury is probably standard any time a pro athlete gets knocked out of a game on an abdominal hit. These people are worth millions of dollars and you're running them through diagnostic machines anyway.

As for the injury, I have to imagine it feels a lot like an inflamed appendix but in a different spot. It's not like having a doctor stab you in the lung with a needle or something.

I saw the hit he went out on and it looked like a blow to the head, not the ribs, which surprised me them saying spleen now too. Maybe the ribs got hit earlier and that last hit was enough to end his day

well buffalo is...buffalo! damn they sucked yesterday. colts offense looked tough and decent at running the ball.
titans lose, and the field gets more crowded towards the top.

pats went from wild card to 3rd seed (ravens have 1 fewer losses) with their win and buffalo's loss. (damn i wish i had legal sports betting in my state, i would have tossed like 20 down for the patriots to win the division - before the preseason they were between +900 and +1600 for the division and +350 for AFC East - right now one board i look at has the pats at +242 for the division)

ravens O-line LOOKS like the defenses have sort of figured them out in recent weeks, Bears not being Da Bears, shoulda won that game but alas they are Da Bears.


be an interesting next few weeks to see who rises to the top in the AFC.

for rookie offensive player of the year, chase and jones are essentially tied currently in the odds.

Thoughts from yesterday's Cowboys game:

1) When Dak is bad, he's worse than Cooper Rush.

2) With all the injuries to key players, the Cowboys will be changing their name to the Dallas 94thers.

3) Dallas is now tied in the loss column with other shitty teams in the NFC like the Rams, Buccs, and Packers.

The ribs were good.

The sequence where Bosa drew a holding penalty and then on the next play made a sack with the dude's arm around his neck was also pretty good.

Prescott is like a streaky shooter or hitter. When he is on he dominates, but then will suddenly play like a rookie for games at a time.
