He's an upgrade over Goof, but Stafford can't get it done when it matters. If he had played for a better team instead of the Lions, I imagine his career would've looked similar to Peyton's/Eli's - a bunch of early playoff exits while managing to squeak out a Super Bowl or two on the back of his defense.

Steve Young suffered a similar fate, but unlike Pey Pey, he actually went the fuck off when he finally made it to the Super Bowl.

I'd say the Rams handling the Bucs earlier this season was winning a big game.

Yeah Kirun is spouting nonsense. As a Detroit QB for so long, nobody has any fucking clue whether Stafford can get it done when it matters because it literally never mattered.

He went to the playoffs 3 times with the Lions and didn't win a single game. Sure, there was some ref fuckery here and there (always is with the Lions), but that happens all over the league.

Guy can't get it done when it matters.
