The person who announced it followed up saying they believe it happened during the game but they didn’t catch it until a follow up check.
Sometimes concussions have delayed symptoms right? Does seem odd that it took 3 days to show, but a reason they do miss concussions in the game is that sometimes it takes time for even the player to know.
Plus some of them lie to stay in the game - I can't imagine how hard it is to enforce reporting and screening for this
