So Minshew broke his collarbone, Raiders are among like 10 teams reportedly showing interest in Jones so do they just say fuck it and claim him?

No you let him clear, then sign him. If you claim him you take on the rest of the contract.

I get you take on the rest of the contract, but you also have to now negotiate with him and deal with the potential another team gets him from under you.

It sounds like he wants to sign with a contender if he clears waivers and there is some interest out there. So, if the Raiders wanted him, that's probably the only shot they've got. I don't think it's a terrible move - he's got 2 years left, could serve as a bridge. The 2025 draft seems kind of weak for QBs. Spend the high picks on supporting cast.

Well i was going to complain about the officiating and thought better of it, now I can see it's just general trash NFL officiating on both sides.

I don't even know what I just witnessed with our special teams today. Special certainly does describe it.
My favorite part was after he missed the second extra point kick the announcer said “and thus concludes the worst special teams performance in history” but then the Cowboys returned the onside kick for a TD which was just extra special, The Redskins won, that win is going to cost the cowboys draft position.

Mayo has to go. Pats have like zero discipline and lacking BASIC shit at this point. I have never seen a Pats team since like before Bledsoe this...bad at being out of position time and time again on defense.

Man it's strange how every time the Rams get going an Eagle goes down and they get a 10 minute TV timeout.

I'll say it again. Giants are fucking dumb for letting Barkley walk. What a stat line

Let him go in favor of keeping jones and spending drafts on receivers and o linemen in free agency.

Hard knocks is funny as shit in retrospect. That GM needs to be fired

This is my favorite story of the year. Fuck NY. I would say they need to fire their GM but I'm pretty sure all this shit has been owner shenanigans? Not familiar with the finer details but you'd think heads would roll.

didn't the announcer say it was the first time in NFL history with 2 missed PATs? That doesn't sound right, he must have said 2 missed PATs AND 2 kickoff returns for TDs. Not to mention 2 blocked kicks. Weren't there 2 missed FGs too? I don't know where to find stat lines like that. Special teams were big, but it wasn't all one team making the mistakes. I agree with you that the TD by thomas was extra special. The announcers were like "GO DOWN GO DOWN and THE GAME IS OVER" Fuck those dumbasses. They don't understand.

They've been fining players for it all year
That's how a lot of people naturally point. I've been seeing them make finger guns and pointing for a first down for as long as I can recall, including plenty this year that weren't called. So are they fining people who point their loaded fingers at a player? Do they have to holster their fingers to draw a flag? Where do they draw the line? What about if they use an imaginary bow and arrow? Cowboys should get a pass on finger guns just because of our mascot.

I forget who it was, but a player did it like he was firing multiple rounds and it was quite blatant. NFL fined him and sent a memo and have been fining people ever since this year.
