No but I actually took Mandarin language classes from Chinese citizens who were here on agreements with my local college at the time, and understand quite a bit about Chinese culture, which is why I know that most Chinese people are dirt poor, even now, and that China is a nation interested primarily with what is inside its borders and nearby, and that economically, its only become a force in the past 20 or so years, which isn't enough time to export its culture internationally to the extent the Western world, as signified by the United States today, has had.

As well, the fact is that the Chinese DO influence our culture. Most of our technological products for over a decade have been made there, for instance.

Cultural exchange isn't a 1 to 1 process.
