Is it racist to point outfacts and statisticsall of the sudden? come on bros.
dontbanmebroUsing a unique data set drawn from state administrative records, this project examines how spending time in prison affects wage trajectories for a cohort of men over a 14-year period. Multilevel growth curve models show no evidence of racial divergence in wages in quarters leading up to incarceration. However, after release, wages grow at a 21 percent slower rate for black compared to white ex-inmates. Blacks also enjoy fewer wage returns to work history compared to their white counterparts.
The Bureau of Justice Statistics now estimates that one in three black men can expect to spend time in prison during his lifetime.
Seventy three. No wait...seventy four.Just out of curiousity, how many girls that are into submissive sex do you know on a personal level?

Man.. what are black people doing?!!!I was more referencing this part:
Well, if they're from East Cleveland, they're hanging out on street corners dressed in gang colors, shooting heroin out in the open, selling crack out in the open. The police have just abandoned certain areas of the city.Man.. what are black people doing?!!!
The reasons Cleveland is a shithole:I didn't grow up thinking being a single mom was cool. I watched girls in my neighborhood get pregnant and drop out of school, and I knew that wasn't going to be me. As a matter of fact, my mother raised me to wait to have sex until I was married (uhh.yeah).
So when those little lines appeared on the pregnancy test, I was shook.
While I didn't necessary want an abortion, I didn't feel like I was prepared-economically or emotionally-to be a parent either.
I feverishly called around looking for the magic place handing out free abortions only find out that I'd have to pay upwards of $400 for the procedure.
That was $400 I did not have. And the only people I might have been able to ask for the money (my parents), would have totally tried to talk me out of it.
But here's an interesting tidbit: prenatal care was free.
And had I tried to get food stamps (I should have), and housing assistance (I should have done that too), that was available as well-providing my child's father was not in the picture. Big ass catch 22.
Here's my beef with most articles about single mothers, though. Instead of providing actual solutions about how to better educate, arm, and support women BEFORE they become pregnant, most tend to focus on what will happen after you get knocked up.
This is the short version: You will be poor. Your children will go to jail. You will never finish school. Your children will not go to college. You will die broke. You will be miserable. The end.
Good thing we abolished slavery.. that way they can live their dreams! I generally like to be reminded daily about how we enslaved them, as they smoke crack in front of me.Well, if they're from East Cleveland, they're hanging out on street corners dressed in gang colors, shooting heroin out in the open, selling crack out in the open. The police have just abandoned certain areas of the city.
But the police have plenty of time to post up ads on backpage.com, posing as prostitutes busting johns from the surburbs in hotel rooms out at the city limits, they've done it quite a few times now.
A lot of the city is decaying RAPIDLY, 15 years from now Cleveland will be worse shape than Detroit, much of Detroit hit rock bottom a while ago and they've even started to reclaim some of the land and improve it, Cleveland is definitely still on the decline. They don't maintain their houses or yards, sometimes for years, windows stay broken or get boarded up with plywood (and the city ignores it, when other cities would step in and use city workers to mow yard long grass). And if you look at statistics such as the number of single mothers raising children (Cleveland is one of the highest in the nation something like 75% and that's not an exaggeration), things are only going to get worse, the kids think it's normal to grow up playing on a street where a streetwalker and crack dealer operate, and mom works as a stripper and prostitute.. but don't think I'm blaming "adult entertainment" on the plight of Cleveland, it's just that all the decent (intelligent) women flee to Pittsburgh, Columbus, or Cincinnati because of the crime and the lack men with decent jobs. Oh, and did I mention the roads? Potholes aren't even being fixed anymore, there are certain roads that have gone 5+ years without repair.
TL;DRCleveland is a shithole city that no one lives in willingly.

It's all related in a vicious cycle. Cleveland exemplifies this.
