Yeah they probably liked it.So why didnt these girls just like try and escape?
Well, they did...that's how this whole thing happened right? Why they didn't sooner and/or weren't more successful I don't know. I think I read some stuff about other neighbors claimed to have heard screaming or them trying to get out in the past? I don't fully trust a bunch of ghetto people telling stories after the fact though, too easy to want to make shit up to try getting on the publicity bandwagon. Plus the media is terrible about sourcing and verifying the crap they repeat now.So why didnt these girls just like try and escape?
MOAR LIKE ELIZABETH NOT SO SMART,AMIRITE?Sure these women arent related to Elizabeth Smart?
She may not be smart, but she's cute. I'd totally lock her up in my dungeon for 10 years... If she's into that kind of thing.MOAR LIKE ELIZABETH NOT SO SMART,AMIRITE?
Well, there was one incident a few years back where one of the neighbors saw a woman holding a baby and pounding on the window. Cops were called and came to the house, pounded on the door 7 or 8 times and then left when no one answered (have to assume she wasn't at the window when the cops got there, dude was probably home and taking a shit or something which gave her an opening to try to get help). So why didnt these girls just like try and escape?
No, that is in no way, shape, or form Stockholm syndrome. My guess is they tried a few times and most likely got very very severe beatings or some terrible punishment and probably thought they would be killed if they tried to escape, but failed. It's stockholm syndrome right? He had them in the basement for so long they didn't know what to do.
The article doesnt say anything about what Amanda says.Brutu5077_sl said:People are saying now that Amanda is saying this guy is lying and it was actually the non English speaking guy that broke her out and this guy just called 911.

Yeah, if they had Stockholm syndrome they would be trying to justify and defend the shit he did, which they're not. When you read about Stockholm cases you see shit like the the captive going to the mall with their kidnapper and not making any attempt to leave; these 3 girls would've (and eventually did, this week) gotten the hell away at the first chance. They wanted out the whole time and never "bonded" with him or any of that shit. No, that is in no way, shape, or form Stockholm syndrome. My guess is they tried a few times and most likely got very very severe beatings or some terrible punishment and probably thought they would be killed if they tried to escape, but failed.
Also, these girls were pretty young when abducted so they have to have some seriously fucked up mental problems from this.
Please let him get the death penalty or Jeffrey Dahmer'd in prison.
I'm sure they tried plenty of times. Hard to escape when you're in a soundproof basement and chained up. One might say, surely in 10 years an opportunity had to have arisen if they were vigilant and paying attention, but (1)that's a huge assumption that there was any opportunity and (2)everyone eventually would succumb tolearned helplessnessSo why didnt these girls just like try and escape?
Dude left to get McDonalds (seriously, that's where they arrested him and his two brothers). Either he left her unchained or she broke free somehow, nobody knows yet but I'm sure we'll get more of the story soon. They released the two brothers yesterday and said they aren't charging them with anything, so I guess they're satisfied that they didn't know about all this shit.So then any word on how she got this opportunity?
yeah. fucked up for life. The girls are not the only ones that will be fucked up, the 6-year old is going to be too. I know I don't remember shit from when I was 6, but according to what my mom (psychology professor) said today ages 1-6 are where most of your personality is burned into your sub-conscious.
