What I enjoyed most from the ASM was the fight sequences seemed much more "Spider-man" to me than any others. Did they get this right in the sequel?Movie was alright, I guess. Had some major pacing, and story issues.
They have the visuals down, they just need to get the rest in check.
It's worth going to see, but it is still not the great spiderman film we deserve.
I wouldn't say it was bad, certain aspects of it annoyed me and it was for unnecessary reasons.I for one am shocked this movie is bad. Shocked.
That's interesting because in the UK version I watched it was in there.Saw it last night. It was actually pretty decent, much better than SpiderMan2 (which I detest, personal taste and all that). I am not getting the hate for Garfield's portrayal, I am actually liking him better than MacGuire.
One odd thing was that a scene from the standard cinema trailer was not in the movie. The scene where Harry says Oscorp had surveillance on the Parker family etc.
It's being planned/hoped for. Forget what thread it was posted about. They want to do their own Avengers style crossover. Are Sony and FOX going to start sucking each other's cocks to try and get more cross promotion going on, or what?
Just got back and think I would agree strongly with this post. Very much of the movie was good, but there were unnecessary things, as you say, that really detracted.I wouldn't say it was bad, certain aspects of it annoyed me and it was for unnecessary reasons.
Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy imo were very well portrayed, the villians were extremely badly portrayed.
