Finally got around to seeing ASM1, man that movie sucked balls. Guess i'll wait 2 years and see a pirated bluray of ASM2 and post how much it sucks in the ASM3 thread

funny...i saw again SM1 the other day and good god....that shit is horrible.bad acting,cartoonish as fuck,i like willem dafoe but as green goblin he is cringeworthy.

I liked that part very much. If a kid were to judge it, they will love first and second spiderman because it was cartoonish.

I caught SM2 on TV the other day and the more I watched it the more I realized they really didn't get Spider-Man or Doc Oc's characters right. I loved the whole dialogue with Aunt May when she talks about them needing a hero and needing Spider-Man. (Because you know she really knows that Pete is Spidey).
The fight scenese between Oc and Spidey were ok but in the comics, it's all about Oc having to use his tentacles to keep Spidey away because once you get to Oc he's just a plain ordinary guy with 4 extra tinanium arms. Until the events of ASM 700 wasn't Oc one of Spidey's easier villains? I know he lost to him and was unmasked in one of the early issues but in the comics it was because Pete had a cold and couldn't fight like he should have been able too. All the other times, I seem to remember Spidey really treating Doc Oc as a joke and it's one of the reasons why Oc is so insanely pissed at him.
