This was cool.
"After days of riding through the desert, and facing thick sand, dunes and steep rocky mountain climbs - I am finally at the Richat Structure and able to ride straight through the Eye of the Sahara."

If I was a cute 100 pound blonde like this I would probably be super leery about going out into Boko Haram territory by myself. Goddamn. She literally risked her life making this video.

Interesting channel here. Almost no subscribers, but it looks like a group that has actually been spending some real time at the Richat Structure over the past month or so.

One thing I don't think people get is that 12,000 years is an unfathomably long time, and anything above-ground at that time is essentially dust now. Unless it was lucky enough to be perfectly preserved in mud like Gobekli Tepe. Hell, this entire area had trees and vegetation at that time and now we see no sign of anything more than sparse brush.

Even worse.

The team assumed they must have had some kind of transport technology because it would be useful.

Then they found some random ass marks in the rock that kind of looked like if you dragged a stick in the mud.

So they concluded the natives had sleds to drag shit around.

Archaeology is such bullshit its bizarre to me that it gets more credibility than astrology

Wild claims.. Assuming this is not an accurate depiction, but Interested to see peer review of their work or similar follow up studies by other groups.
