Anyone pick upFinal Fantasy Dimensionsyet? Reviews look pretty good but I'm still on the fence about shelling out $20 for a mobile game. Thoughts?
Good lookin out, I'd net you again if I could! If you have ios RUN, don't walk, RUN to the appstore and download "Gridlee" before it gets pulled. It's basically a mame emulator hidden behind a seemingly harmless little grid based arcade game. It will be gone as soon as Apple wake up and find out what can be done with it.

It looks like there might be some issues with the port:Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes is out tonight on IOS, supposedly a properly done port of the xbla/pc game with local and online multiplayer.
Nearly every app wants/needs phone access so it can behave properly if you get an incoming call while you're playing it.Looks cool but why does it need access to my phone calls/call logs/who I'm talking to?
Yeah the preview I'd read had only played it on an ipad 3. The SA forum is pretty much split down the middle on this game exactly on those lines, if you have an iphone or an early ipad it's a pile of dogshit. If you have an ipad 3+ it's fantastic. Mini owners seem evenly split between "the controls are terrible" and "I got used to them."It looks like there might be some issues with the port:
"on iPad, where notwithstanding its rough edges, Clash of Heroes is still a joy to play. On an iPhone, it's a miniaturised test of patience...
Clash of Heroes is still a must for iPad owners. Its luxurious scope and hypnotic power justify the "premium" price tag many times over. It's very cautiously recommended to iPhone owners with recent phones, gigabytes to spare and tiny fingers (or styli)."

It's all part of the same API, at least so far as my telephony lesson recollection goes.I guess that makes sense, just the whole call log stuck me as odd I guess.
