I have three kids and don't pay this to go see a movie, get a different babysitter. Now that we lost our free baby sitter, movie for two runs us about $75/
Waiting on Netflix or Christmas for this one.
Two tickets = 25 bucks. If you get two drinks and a one large popcorn that's another 20 bucks at AMC. So I'm assuming the babysitter for 2ish-3ish hours is what, 10 dollars an hour?I have three kids and don't pay this to go see a movie, get a different babysitter.

I think I paid $7 for the matinee. You poor bastard. Two tickets = 25 bucks. If you get two drinks and a one large popcorn that's another 20 bucks at AMC. So I'm assuming the babysitter for 2ish-3ish hours is what, 10 dollars an hour?
Go on a Saturday afternoon. Tickets are $5 each at the nicest theater in the city here before 4:30pm. Go to a 4pm show, get out at 6 and then go whatever. Bring your own snacks if you need to have them and share a soda that has free refills. Two tickets = 25 bucks. If you get two drinks and a one large popcorn that's another 20 bucks at AMC. Well on one side I'd like to support the cinema industry with my patronage, but I only buy popcorn a drink probably 1 out of 4 times I see a movie, but I see a movie almost weekly. On the other hand, fuck tradition and give me awesome streaming ability for movies when they release more often. Except they'll never do that because people would have 10 people over for one ticket and ain't no one want them to make it pay-per-view where it's 60 bucks to see a movie on premiere night.Who gives a fuck how they make their money? Go buy candy somewhere else, you don't owe them anything.
