Maddie's death was one of the most 'fuck yah!!' moments from recent media. Fuck that ginger freckled little traitorous bitch.

The very last episode was full of a lot of 'WOAH' moments that did tie everything together, even if it still wasn't completely clear as to what was going on with Viktor and the 'protomolecule'

Definitely agree although it was still really great. Ep7 might actually be my favourite of the last act because it was the only one that didn't feel rushed.
Seeing Powder living her best life without the trauma that created Jinx was heavy, which then set up the Ekko/Jinx suicide scene which as you say was brutal.
Jayce taking his time exploring the alternate future to see what happens if he fails and turning into the murder hobo. The pacing of that episode was smooth and it was just enjoyable to watch.
Then ep8 was quickly moving all of the pieces into place for the chaos of ep9.
It all did wrap up quite nicely so all in all 9.5/10. In the top 5 shows of the last 5 years for me.

Overall I enjoyed season 2. I think it was great but ultimately not as good as season 1. Season 1 was very grounded, politics and family for the most part. Season 2 kinda lost me a bit the esoteric stuff the conflict was a bit too abstract for my taste especially compared to season 1.

At the end of the day, the animation, voice acting and the mostly great storytelling and character building is what made the show great and I hope they can do that with a different story and different characters in another part of Runeterra.

Concerning character endings
Caitlyn checking for bodies and then reviewing the schematics for the exhaust vents very much implying Jinx + Vander survived and escaped to the undercity. Ekko might know since he only burned one paper for Heimerdinger. Only way to break the cycle was to walk away.

Really enjoyed S2 but it's not a 10/10 like S1.

They needed more time to tell the story, some storylines were excellent but others like The Black Rose felt rushed and poorly explained.

I had to google it's a secret society that runs Noxus and is all about keeping Mordekaiser away? I'm only familiar with a bit of lore from LoL 10 years ago and the card game.

I guess the next show will be Noxus or someone they are invading (Demacia?).

We also needed more time with Singed and his ending since he's kind of the initiating agent of most of the plot happening.

What I didn't like is that
the ending is a variation of "stop the blue beam and close the portal to save the city" that lots of movies had like Avengers or Suicide Squad.

Most of the show is really grounded and about interpersonal relationships - then the ending is esoteric world ending nonsense.

Would have been better imo if Viktor was a side plot like Black Rose or Singed's daughter and the ending was Piltover vs Zaun which is what S1 set up.

8/10 feels about right.

This really does set up Noxus as this horrific evil empire, which I bet they explore in the next series as they are really only 'evil' when seen in the context of their expansion/conquest. Within the empire itself things are actually pretty damn nice and very much focused on people striving to be the best at what they do and lift each other up etc.

We really never get too deep into 'The Arcane' coming back and what that means for Runeterra.

I loved the design of the white metallic zombie manequins. That whole aesthetic of order/chaos merged was perfection. Shame there wasn't more time to explore all of this.

I love how this show incorporates different skins from the game.

Wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Ep7 was the strongest of the last act. The direction was a bit too feminine in ep8 and 9 (long drawn out emotional scenes. Like bitch, you can move someone but not have to pound it over and over with god awful music) and the music was even worse then the first two acts. It could've used an additional episode but you can tell with the stills of entire scenes they were running out of time and had decisions to make so I don't fault them too much on that.

Overall I'd give s2 a 8.3/10

I was kind of hoping, and I know I might be in a minority here, that more league shows would take place in a vacuum in separate universes. That way you could do a high fantasy in demacia, or a steampunk in piltover. I don't want this hextech/arcane stuff always being a focal point.

I like hextech and arcane when they were used as just explanations. A backend plot to explain why the story is moving forward, but not as the vehicle itself. So I kind of agree with that.

You're on crack and have shit taste in music. Now while not every song was good, Sucker at the start of episode 2 and that French song in episode 7 were very good.

Man the more I think about the show the more of a let down the last 3 episodes of this shit was. 1-6 of the second season really were fucking amazing and story and timing were well done, you felt so much more of the story, then the last 3 rush to finish all the plot and it just feel fucking flat soulless and unfulfilling.

If they had to cut it all the way down from 5 season to 2 seasons then something was gonna be lost but goddamn if that was the choice they should of just told a different fucking story.

Idk wtf you are talking about. Episode 7 was very good, one of the best of the entire series and the final episode was also solid. I mean wtf do you want, this show to run like Supernatural and have 15 seasons or some shit? Sometimes less is more dude.

Yea, it was a good show. But you cant deny that at LEAST two more episodes would have made a hell of a lot of difference in the story lines. I didnt like the "implied" shit this season. It felt lazy, even though I knew what the fuck happened. Shit, I know whats going to happen in most of the movies I've watch the last decade but I still watch them. Its pointless to argue over it, but lets not beat around the bush either.
