Wait what conclusion? I might have missed this. I might need to rewatch s1 too.

Ya that scene went surprisingly far. Was definitely a bit whoa wtf. I thought they were gonna cut it after showing Vi's back tattoo but nope it just kept going. The director said in an interview that he cut a lot from the scene because they went R rated and someone told them off for it. Now it's on some french animators hard drive lol.

The song that played is pretty sick tho. One of my faves from the series.

TrueI dont think Ive heard a single person that likes the Imagine Dragons
I dont think Ive heard a single person that likes the Imagine Dragons intro lol.
The song seemed a little out of place at first but I thought it actually ended up fitting really well with the slow FPS dance sequence and it has become my favorite song of the entire series. The song was created specifically for that scene and the lyrical translation fits perfectly. Dynasties and Dystopias and Sucker are the next best songs IMO. Lots of good music from the series in general.I didn't like the song that was in French or the one with some modern tech words in it (can't recall, it was telephone or something). Broke suspension of disbelief.
YouTube algorithm started showing me the performances and music videos for LoL Worlds after some of the links in this thread.I don't like imagine dragons but Arcane made me like that one song. Every time I hear Enemy I relive the joy of watching Arcane and therefore I enjoy that one song.
So much of what’s wrong with Arcane Season 2 so far (I’ve seen Act II) is about what’s missing, or what didn’t happen but should’ve. When Jayce and Heimderdinger meet and chat about science, I can imagine the average audience member saying “yeah checks out,” but Jayce’s massive betrayal, Heimer’s issues with Hextech, the grief over not just dead councillors but the loss of an opportunity for peace, especially with Heimer’s newfound investment in the undercity people, the tone and content of their conversation should be completely different. It really feels like Season 2 wasn’t interested in any of the threads that Season 1 ended with, and they had to fast-track characters to different states and have different priorities or even values. Season 2 wishes Season 1 was different.
started looking at efap's covering of s2.saw this comment in the comment section. and yeah. this is definitely an issue with s2. I kind of was talking about this kind of thing with a few of my notes.
You're a dumbass, I even said myself it had some issues and isn't 10/10 and I'd say it was a solid 8/10 tho and had a lot of epic moments. Also the fact that they made a bunch of really good original music pieces specifically for the show is incredible. Not a perfect show but sure as hell better than shit like LOTR.I mean they did they best they could but when you cut 3 seasons out the story is gonna suffer for it. There are so many things they never got to flesh out in any meaningful way that were important not only to the story itself but the overall tone. Of course if you aren't careful Lumi is gonna lose his shit that you aren't giving everything a 10/10.
How much air time did the illogical lesbian subplot get?I mean they did they best they could but when you cut 3 seasons out the story is gonna suffer for it. I mean, it could have been worse. Jayce and Viktor could have been gay lovers. Imagine if they had a scene like Vi and Caitlyn? That would have tanked the show for a huge percentage of the audience, alone. How much air time did the illogical lesbian subplot get?
