I missed where I did that. Go back and reread the last few posts. Also Lyrical comparing seeing someone 405 incline versus 405 squat is pretty silly.

Most people don't realize how important back strength is during a front squat. You'll get buried fast if your back and quads are shit. Yes, for a single. I can probably do 225 5x5 without an issue, but I'm squatting every day (lowbar-highbar-front-repeat) during this cut trying to maintain strength and stay limber (been having a lot of knee issues I think comes from sitting at a desk all day so squatting every day really helps).I just started front squatting like a month ago. I've been doing 5x5s. Are you trying for a single at 315? I was back squatting like 310-330 5x5 but haven't tried anything over 225 5x5 for fronts yet. How would you say they compare for difficulty?
NICE HALF REPS BRO.No need to wait!!
I'm not that big. Though black is an accurate description.
Plus the spotter's basically 1 arm rowing half the weightNICE HALF REPS BRO.
I fully expected guys to complain about the range of motion in the video. Lots of guys shit talk, but can't do that once. In the words of CT Fletcher, "Forget about range of motion, get your ass in motion."No need to wait!!

Well, I can complain about the range of motion and acknowledge that I probably couldn't move that from the rack, also. Haha. If he did full ROM he couldn't carry that weight. But thats ok, he's fucking strong either way.I fully expected guys to complain about the range of motion in the video. Lots of guys shit talk, but can't do that once. I figured the sarcasm would come through in all caps. He's not a powerlifter so it doesn't matter.I fully expected guys to complain about the range of motion in the video. Brahma's strong as fuck.I fully expected guys to complain about the range of motion in the video. Lots of guys shit talk, but can't do that once. In the words of CT Fletcher, "Forget about range of motion, get your ass in motion."
If I touch my chest I can do more reps because of the small bounce. You do NOT want to touch your chest on the workout. There is no benefit unless in a competition. The risk to your shoulders is too much.Well, I can complain about the range of motion and acknowledge that I probably couldn't move that from the rack, also. Haha. I do six reps with 315, with a powerlifting pause at the bottom of almost a second. It's not pleasant to experience. I'd like to get to 10, but it's pretty stressful to the body at the bottom with a pause. I've worked out at powerlifting gyms before, and am used to the derision. Either way, it's an accomplishment most people will never get to in their lives. If I touch my chest I can do more reps because of the small bounce. You do NOT want to touch your chest on the workout.
I will do the 1 sec pause and get back to dudes today. It's my 2nd chest day this week so I will be a little off as far as strength goes.I do six reps with 315, with a powerlifting pause at the bottom of almost a second. It's not pleasant to experience. I'm just trying dat 3 plate. I have horrendous upper body genetics (pretty sure you've all seen me shirtless) and my max after almost 2 years lifting (June) is still only 275. #povertybenchI do six reps with 315, with a powerlifting pause at the bottom of almost a second. It took me probably 3 to get to 275. Be patient.I'm just trying dat 3 plate. I have horrendous upper body genetics (pretty sure you've all seen me shirtless) and my max after almost 2 years lifting (June) is still only 275. #povertybench
Word? I just wanna hop on the juice train and bench it tomorrow. It took me probably 3 to get to 275. Be patient.
I started training when I was 13. I don't think I benched 275 until college. And that was mainly because I had access to better food. Mom and Dad limited my protein. At college, I'd bring home cafeteria food and store it in my fridge.Word? I just wanna hop on the juice train and bench it tomorrow.
That's impossible for reps to go up with a pause at the bottom, while touching your chest. But OK.315 with pauses in chest. 11 reps.
That vid was 2 years ago man. That's impossible for reps to go up with a pause at the bottom, while touching your chest. But OK.
