He murdered Oliver and Thea's mother right in front of them. He's never making an anti-hero turn in the show unless it stops being about Oliver. I don't think even Malcolm can manage an anti-hero turn if he survives the League, because his arranging the murder of Sara is why everything is so fucked up for everyone. Thea has already tried to kill him once, I wouldn't be surprised if she tries to do it again to avenge what happened with Sara.

as bad as Slade killing Ollie and Thea's mom was, Oliver already forgave Arsenal for killing a good cop because he was under the influence of MK, there is some wiggle room for slade if he ever becomes sane. Merlyn killed his best friend Tommy, destroyed the glades, killing a shitload of people and made thea murder the woman oliver loves. he did all that completely sober. we still dont know why the LoA really wants him dead. Merlyn is bad person.

slade was a good guy until he was injected with the MK and it drove him crazy.

i admit its a stretch that slade could ever be accepted as anything other than a villain, but Arsenal was injected with MK, he went crazy and killed a cop. when he received the antidote he went back to normal and is a key part of team arrow. slade was cured, but instead of being kept around, he was sent to an underground prison with nothing but the 4 walls to stare at. thats enough to drive a sane person crazy without help from MK. somebody already mentally broken isnt going to get better in those conditions. if waller were to snag slade, she could try to rehab him and get him back on the road to sanity.

Well, Roy was under MK for like what? A few weeks? Slade was on it for 3+ years.

Why does everyone have such an issue with the prison? It's ran by Argus, who gives a shit. It's no more silly than them using a billionaire rich kid who was stranded on an island as their secret agent bitch for a year+

And I dont think the CGI is all that bad.

Yeah I was really expecting his asian buddy to drag him to the lazarus pits. I wasn't expecting some silly bullshit about how he still had the will to live after getting a sword through the chest and then falling 100 feet onto a rocky cliff face.

Meh, it was on the right side, only a lung over there, we've seen much worse in screen shots of people living through things going through their bodies.

The fall though, yes. I'm not sure if they showed how far he fell but yes it was silly his body wasn't messed up from it.
