Looks pretty good, AI voice overs, that will save some money probably. Thinking of picking it up, 120 for Nov 8 access seems a bit steep though.

I had no idea they hired Trost. I'm not sure how I feel about that. He was lead on Kunark and Velious (both awesome), but he was also lead on New World (ass).
I have such high hopes for this game but the realist in me knows it's just going to disappoint me in the end.

Bill Trost is/was largely overshadowed by Scott Lane with New World. Ive read enough about AGS's to know its a cluster fuck of hierarchy with the highest positions there by straight nepotism alone, not skill/merit. So I'll forgive anyone that uses the company as a stepping stone, cause even I would be impressed by anyone that could work in that environment, on that engine, for any significant length of time (if I was a hiring manager looking for an actual development team member.)
Outside of that, AOC.. whenever the fk it actually does come out - is going to be a Subscribe 2 Play game, and will probably have some F2P option available by the time everything is said and done. So even though you may have to wait till retail launch, the barrier to entry is almost non-existent. So even if Secrets, C'Thulu'Xer'Self (am I saying that right?) made this game and claimed all Gypsies were legal citizens to any country they wanted to visit - you can just try the game and see if its for you or not with little to no investment.

The business models have changed. He aren't on as much now. Hardcore only 2 percent of total pop. Eventually games collapse on itself zones become barren and populations can't replace its dwlighting numbers.
Troost is the man. I heard he's an expert in bradneese. He was never given proper credit. Ashes looks incredible like another korean dumpster trash, BDO. I played it for 3 days. A lot western players won't like it because of it steven has his hands on the plats this time. AA banned him when he tried in on their game. Who will stop him him now as they banned accounts and take their money. EQ did it.

Steven offered the GMS to unban his AA account for 10 k. They declined. Good for them.. He was paying his White Order officers 75 k a year to run his RMT operations. He took them to Vegas and Hawaii. He is currently controlling all forms of media. His mods run the ashes websites. Steven original Twitter account was banned by the upper management. He has a lot of haters. I like him and his passion for games I am waiting to see off this 15 % kick back referral code becomes a class action. Then he wll take 10% lifetime sales bonus and people hanging as he leaves the company. Watch..

now that verbal NDA has been lifted, yes I am a tester. One of the things I tested was playing in the windowed made as that is what i prefer. The first time I tested, the windowed mode was VERY wonky. the windows size, shape and location changed constantly. I reported it, By the time of the second test a lot of the wonky was GONE. not all of it, but most of it. By the time of the third test, the wonky was ALL gone. I was VERY happy when voice acting was added. I got a giggle from the NPC that stated he wanted to be killed by the goblins so he did not have to go home to his parents HAHA! The graphics are fabulous. It does need more work, but in the past 2 weeks there has been a LOT of improvement. Even with the lowest level mobs you need to be cautious.. and watch your health bar. I played as a mage, as thats my preferred class . If you own a system over 3 years old I recommend you get an upgrade.
