Did anyone actually think critics would hate it at this point? This early the only people seeing it are the ones paid to give it 5 star reviews, and the only people who are going to give it bad reviews are the hipster art fags who just want to be the lone dissenter to draw attention to their Nicholas Sparks blog.

Marvel isnt going to release a movie this big if they felt it was going to flop, it would go back to the drawing board a hundred times before it ever got released.

edit: i should say, they wouldn't release a movie they didn't feel people would enjoy, I think iron man 3 is the closest they've come to doing that.

I would imagine the force of the Hulk pushing the light post into the armor is way, way stronger than a measly tank blast.
