The carrying capacity of Earth is closer to 14 billion. Movie-Thanos was an idiot. Comic book Thanos in contrast was just doing something dumb to get laid, which is more understandable.Urgent? 3.5+ billion people is still too many.
That's only for the food/water/necessity "what goes in" aspect and does not even consider the what "we put out" side of the equation. Because it goes something like "this is what the Earth can take if our civilization is full of irresponsible bastards, this is if we are all responsible, and further down here is where we are at now" and no one wants to admit that. The carrying capacity of Earth is closer to 14 billion. Just one point....half the population of earth didnt disappear, half the population of the UNIVERSE did. And as he said it was random and dispassionate. So possibly 90% or the earths population could have disappeared or 1%...dont think it ever says in the movies the percent of snappies there were on earth
I was thinking more like...all life was bunched up, mixed up and then halvedI thought scarjo said he halved all living things. The dispassionate part was that he didn't select half of this family, half of that school. Just half. So half of the humans regardless of where they lived, half of the kree, half of the ewoks, etc
Sure, Humans also beat Thanos.Yeah that's not how humans work. They'd fuck their way right back to where they were within 20 years which isn't even a blip on the radar on a cosmic time scale.
Sure, Humans also beat Thanos.
That's not to say every race would react that way.
It doesn't need to better, Thanos just needs to believe that it will be better.Except nothing's "better" now. Things getting bad for everyone is something that would happen in the future and nobody believed him anyways, so there's really no lesson to be learned
No, Black Widow specifically states that the countries of the world are completing a census, and it is pretty much 50%.Just one point....half the population of earth didnt disappear, half the population of the UNIVERSE did.
