yup, you had to download the community patch to make it playable. I think that was the first game I ever downloaded a community patch for.It was a buggy mess though.

5e bards are basically Sorcerers, but better. not buff bots, of older dnd/pathfinder.
they have arguably better spells then sorcs, better healing then clerics. at least mid combat. and pretty good with a sword too. song of rest, countercharm, bardic inspiration...
cutting word/healing word are stupid good.

I'm sure WoTC will will make a proper digital DnD eventually. People never expected them to finally get a digital MTG product correct.Yeah, the Circle of Eight community kept that game going way past its expiration date with additional modules and further fixes. Back before 4th edition came out there was talk of an official digital tabletop that never came to be. Players have been wanting a proper digital DnD forever but it never happens.
If it's got a campaign editor, I'm gonna remake every damn gold box game there is.
DDO really scratched that itch for me for a few years. They really need a DDO 2 or something.I'm sure WoTC will will make a proper digital DnD eventually. People never expected them to finally get a digital MTG product correct.
2003 apparently. I thought it was more recent too..Man the one like 10 years ago (or was it 15)was really freaking good. Wouldn't mind seeing an updated version.
Out of curiosity I let one of the camp scenes play out and that faggot literally sucked me dry (dead).I'm totally killing the faggy elf vampire first chance I get.
I actually took the time to learn the map editor and GM function for D:OS2. It was actually pretty powerful and I created some cool stuff. The issue was that they only provided a really bare bones tutorials about how to use it so it took forever to learn. There were some things I never figured out how to do.Also, unrelated. D: os2 had a GM mode and campaign editor.. I dont know anyone that used it though.
So, it makes sense this will have one too... But, its alot of work.. yet, real hit or miss on if the public jumps on them.
I look forward to replacing all those origin characters with custom mercenaries at the earliest opportunity.
