Superman didn't give a shit since he was going to murder the fuck out of him and Batman had no say in it:Haha, he actually calls him Bruce in front of Joker? Was that a slip or did he do it on purpose so that Batman would have to let Joker be killed?

Wasn't there a bunch of talk about how neither of them are going to win and the whole story was going to be messed up by the introduction of all the Doomsday, Wonder Woman, Aquaman crap?We just pre-ordered our tickets for 7 PM on Thursday. I thought they only did midnight showings on opening night. My kids tried to tell me Superman was going to win, I told them to GTFO. They then changed their vote.
P.S.: Your three years of trolling me about Superman are about over.
How you should always be remembered. My kids tried to tell me Superman was going to win, I told them to GTFO. They then changed their vote.
My guess is that when the fight is interrupted it looks like Batman was going to win or at least had the upper hand. Then at some point later it gets revealed that Superman wasn't even trying because he would have effortlessly killed him if he actually wanted to.Wasn't there a bunch of talk about how neither of them are going to win and the whole story was going to be messed up by the introduction of all the Doomsday, Wonder Woman, Aquaman crap?
An easy, recent counterpoint would be Star Wars. It was embargoed until the Wednesday before the release, so that's even less time than this film.main indication a film going to be good is when studios dont put embargos on film reviews, Deadpool and Kingsman were very open with early screenings in recent memory, Ant Man also might not have ever had an embargo either
Except SW was super secret with new characters with unknown origins and a death of a major beloved character. An easy, recent counterpoint would be Star Wars. It was embargoed until the Wednesday before the release, so that's even less time than this film.
Plus, when studios embargo reviews because a film is shit, they usually do it until the actual release date. Maybe WB thinks they have a winner so they're taking the SW route? We'll know tomorrow.

As recently as Inception (the last one I can definitively remember seeing at midnight) movies were only released at 12:01 Thursday night/Friday morning, but the last several years they have moved to 7pm or so (my B v S tickets are for 6:30, perhaps because of the length of the movie), which makes my Fridays at work much better. Because I'm going to see these movies the moment they release, no question, but getting home at 3am, usually full of energy if not excitement, doesn't allow for much sleep. We just pre-ordered our tickets for 7 PM on Thursday.
