Superman Returns was a direct sequel/reboot from after Superman 2. They erased Superman 3 and 4 from that story line and were hoping to pick up with Superman Returns. That was why Lex knew where the Fortress of Solitude was located and how to use the crystal machine to get info there. It failed to reboot the series in the way they hoped, so now we have this line.

He acted like the Superman he was playing, not real life Christopher Reeves. There is nothing at all bizarre about it.

The power of Batman over casual movie goers is amazing. There has been so much Marvel that sometimes you forget about DC, but there are Batman logos everywhere; tatoos, merchandise, car stickers, etc...

Exactly the same for me. I'll be there Thursday night. Only difference between this and Deadpool, Civil War, and Dr. Strange is those will all be IMAX viewings for me, this won't.

if this movie doesn't make 1.5 I will be surprised. MoS made around 700, and TDKR and DK make each around 1.1 billion 4 and 8 years ago respectively.

Admit it, the real reason you aren't going IMAX is so you can hide in the back, so no one can see you crying when Superman gets his stool pushed in.
