Except hardly anyone ever calls him that and hasn't really since season 1 and part of season 2 on a reguler basis

-shrug- It's hard to see beyond what I already said when he'll use a lot of the same facial expressions he did when he played Hal. Sometimes it makes it hard for me to take things he does seriously.

I have zero opinion on Ben being cast, I'll wait till I see it to judge him on how he does.

I already said it was cool Cranston was cast. You need to calm the fuck down.

LoL, my oldest loved that show and watched it all the time, it's why I have a hard time seeing him doing other things I think. When I watch Breaking Bad now it only happens when his facial expression is that "wtf" look he gets sometimes as Hal had that for 3/4 of every episode he was in.

I know it's the internet, and not written in stone obviously, but HAHAHAHHAHA:

"They also believe Affleck-buddy Matt Damon could be up for a role. "DC also does have major interest in bringing Matt Damon into the Justice League now that Affleck is on board, and it is rumored that he is being considered for Aquaman or Martian Manhunter.""

A buddy I'm chatting with said "It's too soon. Audiences are ready for Superman as the villain", I came back with this:

"Really? After he leveled a city thinking he was in the right, thinking his shit didn't stink and killing all those people trying to be noble? Fuck man, this is the best time! Superman's nobility no matter what the cost, something Batman would never do, never involve or endanger others in his battles? This is the PERFECT TIME, shit it's almost like Man of Steel set this movie up"

Ben Whofleck isn't a terrible actor and I'm sure he'll do fine as the Bat.

The real issue is that Zack Snyder is a fucking hack and the movie will blow regardless of who stars as who.

So if Lex is in, that means the Joker is in. Who the hell are they going to get for that?

Except 50's not a Billionaire.

Anyway, I was thinking, I'd rather see Nicolas Cage as Batman in this one.

Think this is a good sign. Anytime there is this much outrage about someone being cast in a iconic role, it usually turns out to be good. Ledger as Joker, Damon as Bourne, Keaton as Batman, Cruise as that Vampire faggot to name a few.

I'm not excited about the news of Affleck as Batman, but I'm not going to cry myself to sleep over it either. Mainly because I'm not much of a Batman fan, even though I loved the Keaton and Bale movies. Hopefully Affleck does well enough that we can focus on whatever the actual story is, because the story is what will make or break this movie I think.

As an aside, I find it amusing that there are all these lists of actors that people hated when cast, but knocked it out of the park with their performance, and never any lists of actors that seemed fine for the roles but sucked out loud when all was said and done. That's probably because people just write it off as a bad movie and it is hard to quantify performance vs. shitty movie, but you see my point. We only ever talk about the few times everything turned out better than expected, not the multitude of times it failed miserably.
