That doesn't help your point. Bale is the type of actor to do anything to fit a role, even if it means eating an apple a day and that's it. Then he bulked up for Batman. Affleck is not the guy that will do anything to give a perfect performance. So we'll get padded suits with him.

I think he can pull it off. I am not a huge Affleck fan but i have no issues with him taking over the role. Daredevil sucked but the entirety of the script did regardless of who did it.

Argo was awesome so il be optimistic.

Affleck sort of has the Bruce Wayne look but the only thing I remember about him in movies is being the guy who always walked around with a stupid grin on his face. That made him sort of likable in movies. Batman on other hand never walks around with a stupid grin on his face. He maybe cracks a small evil smile when a bad guys gets messed up real good but that's about it.

I've been looking for any sort of "dark and gritty" scenes for Ben Affleck. This is the best I could find so far.

I found this page just now, shows some old web posts after the naming of Heath Ledger's casting as the Joker. Lots of negativity back then to that.

You should have seen the FoH boards when he was announced to play the Joker. It was really really bad.

Me and like 2 other people were the only ones who were okay with it. We were flamed for is until the movie came out. Good times, good times.

Bryan Cranston signing on as Lex is cool I guess....my issue is I still have trouble seeing him as anything other than Hal from Malcom in the Middle. Even now that I'm almost done with Season 4 of Breaking Bad I still have that issue.
