newsflash. all these earth based superheroes can not compare to someone magical from another world like superman or Thor. even the Hulk who is probably closest cant match either one, no matter how mad he gets.

Um Hulk kills Thor. Not even a close one. Hulk beats Thor and Loki together.

Also, Batman is a bitch. Supes for the easy win.
I saw that Hulk v thor animated movie and while thor and asgard took a beating, he rallied and won overall.

Every single comic character ever made is a paradox in this way.

Squirrel Girl > Batman.

edit: To be clear, i totally ignored the "without incredulity" part because I wanted to post Squirrel Girl beating Thanos and Dr. Doom. She's also taken down Deadpool, Wolverine, Ego the Living Planet, the Mandarin, etc etc...

Yeah the incredulity is the key part and is basically undefinable because what is credible to one person could be incredulous to another. To me, the hulk can basically do anything as long as you get him angry enough, where as the bit in the Avengers where Mark Ruffalo winks at the camera and then turns into the hulk and smashes some fools isn't credible.

Speaking of Hulk can't die, folks should hunt down Hulk: The End. Cool little one shot about him being the last one alive at the end of the world after some sort of apocalypse.

HUlk can't die and has no upper limit to his strength. They usually end in a tie, but if it was to the death I would not bet against the hulk.

Backing up on your previous statement already? You said Hulk would kill Thor in a one-sided fight, and now you are saying they tie? You should have googled it earlier, since you've never read a comic book in your life.

The same could be said of Thor. He can channel all of the power of all of the Asgardians at once, and has borrowed the Odinpower. So if Hulk can untap a lot of energy, Thor can tap more. Odin is just under Galactus level in power. A maxed out Thor would just look at the Hulk and he'd be disintegrated. But hey, worse comes to worse, a normal powered Thor can always teleport Hulk to another dimension like he did with Juggernaut and be done with him.

Love that book. Artwork is great too. I love that last panel with him sitting on the cliff talking to himself

This guy says it well. Literally, Thor and Superman have the same abilities (except Thor can't move through time, but can teleport between dimensions). Thor can move planets the same as Superman can. The most we've seen Hulk do is cause an earthquake on the Eastern seaboard. Thor could destroy the entire galaxy, with the winds from one thousand planets.

To put thing into perspective, from the point of view of someone who does not read super hero comics, these arguments about powers and who did what in what story, only demonstrate three things: 1) There are a lot of stories involving the characters 2) A lot of these stories are extraordinarily poorly written 3) You can see most of it did not benefited from the professionalization of team writing (lack of character and world bibles, only a gigantic pile of scripts with authors trying to one up each other).

I can see the appeal of discovering where each author will take the characters or how he will combine them in an original way, but trying to predict the outcome of hypothetical scenarii by attempting to create some sort of canon out of the work of dozens of people over decades that can be used as reference point feels like a futile endeavor as the answer will always be: it depends who writes that hypothetical story.

Also, as a personal note, I willneverget used toconstantuse of bold foremphasis. It drives meinsane.

Part of the rationalization comes from the variances in the situations themselves. Pit two Olympic level athletes against each other 20 times and you'll get 20 different outcomes.

Some of it comes from who is writing and which character is wearing the thickest plot armor.

The other part comes from which character is more important to the franchise.

Anyone know a good site I can stream these (not download)? Netflix instant is the only source I have for animated comic movies =/
