That was umm, uhh, hmmmm.

For me that about sums up what I just saw in that preview, minus the excitement of the text. I just do not feel like I need to spend money at a theater for this one. I will watch it, but not at the theater.

Trailer shows almost nothing, feeling I got from it is the impact Superman had in coming forward and saving Earth was humanity went ape shit over both finding out a super God like man exists and aliens exist as well and painted him as a God that is to be feared because it's a matter of time before he turns on them all. Because humanity is fucking retarded. (which is probably what would actually happen)

I must be a fucking loser I guess because im not emo whiny and actually thought the trailer was ok. Didnt give much but sets up a cool story IMHO where Superman is revered for his power and people are both scared and mesmerized by the great powers. Meanwhile Batman gets talked into taking him down to protect mankind. Plus dark threatening batman.
If you cant get behind a psycho with gadgets trying to take down the most powerful being on earth because "power that great should not exist" then you need to find joy in life.

I thought the trailer was good. It's no where near the levels of Avengers or Star Wars but the people making it thought it should be. I'll be watching this in my living room.

Maybe its that im not a superman or batman fanboy. Shit looked fine to me. Not enough for me to declare that I will or wont be seeing it in the theater but its looked like it has the chance to be good. But Maybe not being a fanboy causes me to approach this with logic and reason, over rage and pure faggotry
The problem is that people who read comics have been living with these characters for decades. Toss in a few movies for the general populace and they become jaded fast. I never got into comic books, so I only have movies and periphery nerd knowledge to go on. Good or bad, doesn't anger me.

Haven't really been following this at all. What is the canon of Superman then? What did they gimp him with? Even with the Batman super preparedness there are so many utterly OP ways Superman would win in a straight up fight. Laser vision, pick him up and fly him into space or the sun for that matter, punch him into orbit, fly him down to the ocean where the pressure would crush him... All would take seconds to do. Depending on the canon, Superman could do any of the above examples before Batman finished "do you bleed?"

Simple Answer here is Batman is trying to take Superman down because he is too strong to allow to live and destory the city again and cant be trusted. Superman is actually a true hero and is trying to convince Batman not to fight him. He doesnt want to kill, let alone kill a hero like Batman. So he doesnt kill him and tries to avoid it all. Batman somehow is able to weaken Superman because of this and they can actually fight, and eventually Batman realizes that Superman is not the bad guy.
Never read a single batman or superman or watched any of their shit comics or cartoons and look how simple it is to justify based on that trailer that Superman just wouldn't kill batman right away.
And did I see someone really complain that batman is using a power suit to fight a god? "He knows martial arts and is a great detective" ok. So that means Batman doesnt use gadgets and cutting edge technology with pretty much everything? guy is a billionaire funding his own shit.
Did you hate Dark Knight when he had a super tank and Motorcycle? Was it stupid that he had a flying bat thing? Or his super radar? or his sky hook in China? Or his exo leg thing? No complaints there but the minute its a power suit against superman its dumb?
