Looks better than I expected, but then I didn't really have high expectations to begin with. It does seem like it's going to have to be a plot heavy movie with how much set-up they have to do, but maybe that's a good thing since Man of Steel was basically a 90 minute brawl.

Also, I think it's cool that they got Optimus Prime to voice Batman.

Trailer seems pretty good, but its hard to see whats going on, almost seems like Batman just has a bone to pick and decided to take on the strongest being on the planet to say his balls are bigger!

Fuck, I'm actually interested now. Trailer makes it look like they are borrowing heavily from Dark Knight Returns, which is about the best Batman there has ever been.

If it's even half as good as the animated movie I'm totally down:

You of all people should know that you could have also linked dozens of instances where he did actually react faster than a speeding bullet. As you said, whatever the plot requires. For BOTH Superman and Batman. And every other comic book hero that ever existed for that matter.

I know you just do it because it is your schtick now, and I expect you'll just keep up the Tanoomba'ing anyway, but this one really showed your hand more than usual.

honestly... I had basically gotten over Ben Affleck as Batman. Then I watched the trailer and am back to square one with being confused and irritated again.

i'm willing to admit this looks better than the leaked handycam version I saw last night, but I still am not sure what they are going for here. i have no initial understanding of why batman is motivated to get all up in supes business. I don't feel like this is a successful teaser still, but its better than i thought it was. small victories?

Is there no correlation between the latest batman trilogy and the batman in this? Curious if its like a "Reboot" for batman, because christian bale's character hasn't got a shot in hell against man of steel superman, even with any gadget Fox makes for him.

Which is the comparison the vast majority of the audience is going to make.

Tell me, to the common man who may not know what we do due to being immersed in the comics world. Why would a suit of armor on Batman work against a "god" who leveled skyscrapers in a fist fight in Man of Steel. There is still no why being posed here, why would someone throw themselves against someone that powerful. Don't get me wrong, I really liked MOS, and I loved all the Dark Knight movies, but its insanity to everyone not in the nerd know for these two to come to blows. DC needs to handhold people into this and they aren't...yet.
P.S. and absolutely not as some lame trump card, I grew up with a gal who married one of DC's inkers for a few of their big name comics, and he readily admits he has no idea what movie DC is doing at this point. They aren't working like a precise machine like marvel is, at all.

It's a fucking teaser dude. Name me a movie that gives you full plot details in it's first 30 second teaser? You have a beaches worth of sand pouring out of your vagina over a 30 second teaser that pretty much showed nothing, just like every other 30 second trailer ever to exist.
