Good, because you're wrong. She was born 5 miles from the mediterranean sea, has a thick accent, and isn't that particular brand of pale white that a lot of American actresses sport. Short of sticking Wonder Woman in a hijab or making her black, Gal Gadot is about as diverse as it gets.

Just have to go in knowing this is just a different version of these characters which there are many in the DC Universe.
